New Laws update

#1

Post by srothstein »

Anyone who wants to see a fairly decent review of most of the new laws from the last session, not just the ones that make the news can now see the TCLEOSE course. Got to the TCLEOSE Training Resource Guides page and scroll down to course 3181. This is a new course for TCLEOSE and has both a word lesson plan and a powerpoint file showing how the officers will be trained. It is important as it shows how all of the peace officers in the state will be trained on the new laws.

I took this class last week. Lots of changes were made that I had not heard about. I think they made the right decision to require this every training cycle.

They have certainly motivated me to go work on my intermediate certificate too.

By the way, there was no mention of changes to the CHL notification requirements in my class.
