Toby Keith bans guns in his restaurant!

Looks like his songs really don't reflect his beliefs. He won't get anymore money from me unless he forces the establishment with his name to change its policy.

There was a story in the Dallas news about his places it seems they (Boomtown) have many law suits in other states against them, anyway Toby says he is a hands off the reastraunts. My guess is they pay him for the use of his name and some face time. Any way you look at it it is all about money. I doubt he the songs he sings reflect his beliefs, more like they reflect his desire to make money.

Meh.

There are states that have it awhole lot better (and quite a few that have it WAY worse!). I for one would prefer that we not have any signs that have the force of law (like quite a few other states). Concealed means concealed.

Toby Keith is a clown, talk about offending your target audience!

Also, he resteraunts are just done under a licensing agreement.

So what if he doesn't agree with the gun ban? So what if the business is run by others and he's not directly responsible?
Well, I say he's a joke and anyone who sides with him is blinded by his celebrity status. If he's ok with them putting his name on the wall, then he's ok with their policies.

Celebrity restaurants come and go - most of them go.

Have you been to a Kenny Rogers Roasters lately? They just opened a new one in Bangladesh last year. ;-)

Money talks and something(?) walks - :headscratch I don't remember what it is though.

What do you expect? One of his best friends is the uber liberal Willy Nelson. Toby Keith is a democrat through and through. He has made his membership with the elites and can care less about anyone else.

Yeah, he comes on to Fox News from time to time to pose as that good ole boy blue dog Democrat patriot schtick. I've never bought, plus he's an OU guy. Never had any use for him.

If he's a pal of Willie Nelson, who's a super anti-gun/pro marijuana proponent, then I don't doubt he either approves of or had a hand in the no guns in his named restaurant. Birds of a feather and all that...

As a side note, I tried to read one of W.N.s books awhile back and couldn't finish it as he's so rabidly liberal I couldn't take it.

T.K. is still pushing Wounded Warriors which seems in some arenas to also be anti-gun, which makes little sense to me, but what do I know...?
