Homes Evacuated Because of DOZENS of Rounds of Ammunition

#1

The San Antonio Police Department's Bomb Squad was called to a Southwest Side neighborhood Saturday after dozens of rounds of ammunition were found underneath a home.

Good grief. Dozens of rounds? Really? What would the SAPD do if they looked in my house?

This is the second time old ammunition has been found at the home. Just last week, the bomb squad spent about half an hour disposing of shotgun shells found there.
Seriously? One guy with a broom and a cardboard box would have been sufficient.

Do I need to have a call to the local EOD/Hazmat crews included in my will now?

Even 4 dozen is less than a standard box of ammo. It's not beer, you can't buy singles!

Snip: "This is the second time old ammunition has been found at the home. Just last week, the bomb squad spent about half an hour disposing of shotgun shells found there".

What in the world were they shooting at disposing all those shotgun shells??? :biggrinjester: Isn't that how you dispose of them? Shoot em! :fire

But seriously, maybe an over reaction???
Just some guy's opinion.

There must be more to the story.

At least I hope so.

Maybe it was mortar ammo?
