What a drag - Garland civic center posted

Here I am for a future daughter-in-law's college graduation and they made me leave all my masculine products in our car, 30.06/07 proudly posted on the public property. Suborned by my desire to not cause a scene, I meekly defanged myself.

I think I'll grab pictures of the signs and write a letter.

Maybe because it's a school event??? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mystery solved. It's not city property, it's school district property and a fine monument to property tax it is!

A nice Garland officer explained that to me. Great to be able to have that kind of reasonable, polite dialog.

Trust but verify. What's the address? I would look up the tax records to see what entity owns the property.

School district owned building.

Every building GISD owns is posted. Even their employees health clinic by Firewheel Mall.

This was one time I was happy to see 30.06/07 on school property. They seem in your face redundant and condescending on a schoolhouse, but I saw what looked sort of like an events center or conference facility. It didn't dawn on me it was school property until I asked.

If it weren't illegal I would carry in school buildings. Since it is agin the law, I don't.

I just wanted to remind everyone (that is not familiar with Garland) this is the same location that the "Draw Mohamad" incident occurred. Luckily, the two terrorist never made it inside because it has been posted since day one. :tiphat:
