I wonder if he realizes that he is outnumbered several hundred to one. And that's assuming all of his officers would be fine killing civilians.

I hope he's a burka wearing, transgendered, black, Asian, Muslim, refugee then of course his craziness can be laughed at.

But if not, say he's just a standard issue white guy, buh-bye next election.

Probably not going to end well for him but then again he's probably a coward and wouldn't be the one trying to take even one gun from cold dead hands.

This ^^.

Whoever is running against him should run that video over and over again..... “My opponent joked in a public forum about murdering innocent people who had broken no laws, for protecting that which they purchased legally from theft by law enforcement engaged in the violation of their constitutional rights. Is THIS the temperament you want from the county’s top law enforcement officer? Today it’s your gun. Maybe tomorrow it’s your Bible or Torah or Quran. Can you trust this man to protect your OTHER constitutional rights? Vote for me, and I’ll see to it that this kind of arrogance from officialdom is not allowed to flourish in our great county.”

Amen.

That guy is an embarrassment to his badge.

But he's a hero to the left. :banghead:

I am sure some see him that way. I really doubt even most Democrats see it that way. Most of them that don't like it would probably still justify voting for him for other reasons.

All politics aside, this isn't even something to joke about. If this guy had said he's okay with killing any other group (even in jest) he would be blasted for hate speech. I don't want another war. I just want to be left alone. But enough is enough. I want to rant on and on. The 2nd Amendment protects the 1st, those willing to give up liberty for temporary safety deserve neither, etc, etc. But that would be preaching to the choir members of this forum.

For me, this is just the latest in the long sad examples of the deterioration of our country. And yes, some people will still vote for him even with what he has said. That is the real problem! How did people become so ignorant of the fragility of liberty?

Rant over.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

This is too true unfortunately. The irony that you are offended by this, but no such reaction when another candidate stated (maybe jokingly as well) that he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose any votes.... hmmmm, who was that again?

Does this already satisfy the conditions of Ability, Opportunity, and Jeopardy, or not unless he's elected?

...Fisher has served as a captain with the Asheville Police Department and is currently the county’s law enforcement training director.

Surely there is some legal action available that can remove this psychopath would-be-tyrant from continuing to hold a position of public trust?

What is the process in North Carolina to report a man with a gun threatening to shoot people? :headscratch

Good question!

If Fisher is training county law enforcement to kill citizens who stand up for their god given enumerated constitutional rights I think he should be in federal prison.

The locals ought consider a preemptive strike.
