Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

In 2018 ? No way. In 2024 ? Maybe. In 2030 ? Yes.

Texas is going the way of Kalifornia, I hate it, but reality says so.

I was driving through Austin last week and saw a lot of vote Beto signs in people's front yards. I do not think he will win but we cannot be complacent.

Here's an even scarier thought. In 2030 Beto might the more conservative of the viable candidates.

Beto is everywhere. Signs, tee shirts, town hall meetings.

Cruz does not seem to be even trying very hard.

Polls today show them neck in neck.

Cruz needs to decide if he is serious or not.

Beto defends rich, entitled athletes kneeling, illegal immigrant rights over citizens, and is anti 2A. Money is pouring into his campaign from coastal elites and other far left interests.

It is the only Texas race that could conceivably go to the DemocRats.

In San Antonio, I've seen a lot of Beto signs here. I have yet to see one Ted Cruz sign anywhere. Maybe he's ready to go back to private practice.

I think a lot of people are afraid to show support, or even state their position when asked by pollsters, due to fear of ANTIFA and their like. I know three people who say they are supporting Beto to people they do not know but are very open of their support for Cruz when in private and they will tell you it's because of kids with multi-colored hair, bicycle locks and masks.

I have also heard that some people who had Ted Cruz signs have had their signs stolen.

Don’t be so sure of 2018. Beto seems to want it more than Cruz. Kalifornia may be closer than you think.

When we become so afraid to make a stand and speak out, becomes the time that we deserve to lose. Surely not everyone is afraid, some of us have courage. I would hang a sign, but there are none to be found. It's almost September, and there is no indication that Cruz is even running.

Signs are also available in bulk, and other items are available under the products link.

Can Beto win? Sure he can. Will he win? I doubt it. Those of us the media ignores must continue to show up and cast votes.
