I was there last Thursday shooting and ground was fine then after our last rains. Grass growth was pretty solid. Depending on how much we get Wed/Thurs will depend but regardless, should be good to go.

My bride and I are coming in on Friday night, but don't know how late, so no plans as yet.

A group of us will be working Friday to get things ready and we're going to have an informal gathering Friday evening at the PSC "blue building." People can sign in and get their badges, etc. either Friday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, or Saturday morning beginning at 7:00am. The event opening will be at 7:30am Saturday and the first seminars and clinics begin promptly at 8:00am.

It has been a long two years since the last TexasCHLforum Day, thanks to Ike, and I'm looking forward to seeing you folks!

Chas.

Originally I didn't think I could get there until opening hour on Saturday,
but I now have Friday off and will try to get down there during Friday daylight hours
(about 5 hour drive for me).

I have 900 rounds of 9, so I should have more than enough for the festivities.

Also, I have 200 rounds of Federal brand, .40, 180 grain, FMJ, that I would like to
sell to a fellow attendee at the event. I bought it way back in August for a friend's
XD .40, so we could shoot each other's guns at the range. But it never happened.
I was really looking forward to getting some close and personal time with his
Springer!!

I will sell these 200 rounds of .40 for just what I paid at Wal-Mart: $53.87. Don't
worry about exact change - $50 even would be easiest for all concerned.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Is it true that the forum board makes everyone look 10 pounds lighter? :-)

So what kind of things do you need to get done Friday and if I can get away during the day what time and where do we go to help setup things?

Really wish I could go. But my dad and his new bride decided Saturday was the day they'd get married (how inconsiderate of them "rlol" ). So I'll be wearing a monkey suit (and pocket carrying my LCP).

Anyone, hope everyone has a "blast" :fire . Pencil me in for next year.

If only Longtooth was coming... I'm sure that he'd be able to take care of their vows when he took a break from the Texas Star. :biggrinjester:

Now that a good idea and a great reason for Longtooth to be at PSC instead of the Founders' Day!

I know that you can get your badges starting today at 5pm til 8pm and starting saturday at 7am, but i'm wondering if I can get my badges around 10am saturday since my 1st mini-clinic isn't til around 1pm or 1:30 pm saturday?

I just want to go to the lunch to meet some forum members and hit my mini-clinics up.
My concern is if I'll miss anything important like an orientation or something by not being able to get there until about 10am or 11am saturday?

I would also suspect that the line for badges will be very long at 7am saturday and since I don't have a mini-clinic till the afternoon I may as well not bog down others that need to get their's by the start of the 1st sessions at 8am saturday.

I plan on checking some other things out while I wait for my mini's to start tho.
