Leatherman OHT???

#1

Post by cmgee67 »

I'm needing a one handed opening multi tool for work like my knife (Benchmade Griptilian). I need the one handed opening system because my other hand gets busy doing other things. Anybody carry the OHT? Or know and other one handed opening multi tools?

I have an OHT I carry around the property sometimes. Usually the supertool 300 stays on the belt since that's what I prefer off property (more tools than the OHT). I like the OHT for being able to already be holding something with one hand and deploy what I need with one hand. That being said, if the pliers are the main thing you need to deploy one handed, and supertool *can* be worked fairly easily kinda like a butterfly knife to open one handed.

I have an SOG SwitchPlier; the pliers are spring loaded. SOG has several other tools with assisted blades.

I looked at the SOG power lock last night and it has more features that I like plus it was about 20$ cheaper. But I'll continue to look a bit. I find it funny the OHT weighs more than my BUG
