The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

I bet the rebates are really hurting the sales of the Taurus PT111.
I bet the rebates are really hurting the sales of just about every other small carry gun out there

I am sorely disappointed that Martha cannot rack the slide on her new Shield 9mm. She is developing arthritis in her hands and she simply doesn't have the strength to grip the slide to rack it against a strong recoil spring. Her CZ 75 P-01, 1911's, P238 and others are fine, but the little Shield is too much. Before folks start offering different techniques, I've taught her all of them but none work.

Oh well, the Shield will go into the safe's black hole.

Chas.

The greatest assistance I ever discovered in the aid of "racking" any semi-auto, was applying skate borders tape to the slide and increasing friction. My hand grip strength had greatly been reduced by a stroke. Made all the difference .

Only one of my shield 9 holsters seem to fit the 45 but thankfully I can just order a new shell from comptac and if the Internet is correct (it's on the internet so it's true right?) the sights are the same for the 9/40/45

I love my Shield, but I hate that my wife can't safely operate it. It's only a pre order for the Shield at the moment, but I've been considering this slide plate extension:

One of two got delivered yesterday, now it's range time before officially carrying. First glance the gun is small, the slide lock is extremely tight and trigger feels good. Can't wait to fire it.
