Concealed carry question for te pro's

#1

Post by Alaska2texas »

Just wanted to get sole feedback as i cant find anything on the net.

Is pocket carry legal in the state of texas? Bought a bodyguard .380 and man is it small.

Id like to pocket carry of legal with a LTC, no holster yet, just one in the pipe and safety on.

Cheers

It is legal to pocket carry in Texas. I personally would not carry a pistol in my pocket without a holster rather is has a safety or not.

I strongly suggest a pocket holster. I have a Mika for my 442 and a diy for my Seecamp. In addition to safety, a good pocket holster enhances presentation by keeping the gun in the same place and reducing the risk of snagging on clothing.

Holster that cover's the trigger. And stiff enough to stay away from the trigger.

I pocket carry a Sig P938 or a Sig P238 in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster.

I have 2 Remora holsters for my Bodyguard. One for pocket and one for IWB. Inexpensive and comfortable.

No holster. No carry. Too dangerous to not cover the trigger.

I use a sticky when I pocket carry.

What they said - the holster is a primary safety device.

For pocket carry, I only use the AHolster pocket holster. Kydex, so won't get in the trigger, stays in the pocket very well. They make one for a bodyguard.

Absolutely! Pocket carry, sock carry, underwear carry, hairband carry, up you sleeve carry, hidden in your beard carry...absolutely. Just make sure that it is CONCEALED...unless you belt holster or shoulder holster carry.

I second the Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. I have one for my LC9 and it works great.

Remember, the first safety is between your ears, the second is keeping the trigger covered at all times. Get and use a pocket holster!
