The rock I apparently live under
So this morning I became aware of a line of firearms called SAR. And there's a chain of stores with 8 locations in Texas called Shoot Point Blank. Not bad looking pistols.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

A pistol without a round chambered is an expensive paper weight.

Why, yes you do..
Sar or Sarslimaz are becoming very well known as a high quality firearm offering some really good prices. Search around and you'll find pretty much nothing but good reviews on them. I'm thinking of grabbing a couple for student rentals...
Oh, and I think Shoot point blank just changed their name to Range USA

Correct. All Shoot Point Blank locations have been re-branded as Range USA. https://rangeusa.com/Tex1961 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 12:32 pm Why, yes you do..

I got the store name from SAR website. I guess they haven't updated yet. They have some good looking weapons.

I was going to get the SAR K12 Sport. Many compare it to the CZ Shadow 2. $700.00 vs $1200.00 for the CZ. I ended up stealing a CZ for $800.00 (long story) but I still think the SAR is a much nicer looking pistol.

$800 for shadow 2!!! That is a deal! Congrats

I too have been unaware of some new firearms makers, but Sarsilmaz has been around quite a while. I have a pistol they made for Academy called the Hancer 2000. It's a CZ compact clone and it's a dandy.

Re: The rock I apparently live under
Last year my twin boys were RSO's at a local range. Guy comes in with a brand new Shadow 2 SA. Loads a magazine and fires it... Packed everything away and walked out of the range. Said he hated the gun and did they want to buy it.. Range said yes and paid him $800.00 for it... My boys both new I had been wanting one so they texted me and I said yes.. Get it for me..... I'm $500.00 in the black already.... Probably the finest pistol I've ever had the pleasure to shoot... I tried missing the target a couple of times but it wouldn't let me LOL.....

I love my SAR 2000 stainless pistol.
