I suppose you could walk in and help yourself. Never tried it, so don't know how it'd work. An ice cream cone is supposed to be free with your meal. Like some, I used to grab a coffee cup and fill it.

Some of the people from the church we used to attend went to Jason's after Saturday night services for supper. Since we're back to church-hunting, we don't go to Jason's any more.

I don't think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzanna_Hupp would agree with this idea.

Hey. Nothing wrong with you bumping the thread with new updated information.

It's the people :deadhorse: in an old thread that make me :banghead:

I don't have a problem with you bringing an old thread back to life either. I only mentioned that I didn't realize it was old because I probably would not have responded to a 8 month old post. Oh well...sorry to have made you cranky and I will get off of your lawn Abraham as soon as my dog is done doing his business beside your mail box.

This is one of pet peeves. That is, when stuff is touted as free when it's not. It's something of an old marketing scam. Here's one of my favorite types: Buy 3 bars of soap and the 4th is free, for only 1 dollar. Ah, no. It's simply and only 4 for .25 cents each. It may very well be a good deal, but it AINT free!

Now, get off my lawn!
:anamatedbanana :anamatedbanana :anamatedbanana

Free???, technically no but like I said, when I can feed a family of 5 for $30.00 and then have ice cream for dessert, yeah, it's free!!

Why technically no? Your sandwich is the same price if you have ice cream or not.

TDDude,

Free - "sigh" - isn't, if you must first pay, no matter how giddy you become with anticipation.

However, if you think it is, well alrighty then, I have a bridge for sale, ah, free that is...just for you.

Soft serve ice cream is often available at a number of the Asian "stuff your face until you explode" (for a set fee) restaurants too.

They won't tell you it's free...

One day, I hope to be able to get that fourth bar of soap free, without having to buy the other three first. Hold it, I'm just so inspired I feel a need to sing, ahem, me me me me me, To dream the impossible dream, To fight the unbeatable foe, To bear with unbearable sorrow, To run where the brave dare not go, O.K. I'll stop there...

Now, you can stand on my lawn for free, but the shoe space'll cost ya!

I know in Shangri-la the ice cream is free and so is the soap. Really, no kidding,

Sigh...

Wow...lots of concern over this "free" ice cream. I went into Jasons today and ate an ice cream cone and left. It was free. I purchased nothing and all because I read this thread and wanted to see if I could get away with it. I set down near the counter and the folks that worked there all joked and kidded around with me as I ate the ice cream cone. I don't believe they ever gave it a second thought. I even asked for and received a courtesy cup of ice water  . Now I will admit that we(folks from our office) often eat there and they recognize me when I come in, but just the same...today...the ice cream was free...washed down by free water.

By the way...Dickeys BBQ also has "free" ice cream. they also have "free" pickles, onions and peppers. Oh...and "free" refills on all drinks.

Just basing my opinion of you on the posts I see you make here, I don't think they are going to want to be very nice to you. You most likely won't get free ice cream with your attitude. :tiphat:
