carlson1's son

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

carlson1's son

#1

Post by carlson1 »

I am on my way to Tyler. My 17 year old son was spending the week with his grandmother. They have carried him to the ER for severe chest pains, trouble breathing etc. . . My daughter has electrical heart problems and she started her trouble at 16 and of course you all know my problems. I would ask for you to pray for him, his name is Justin Carlson. I will update as soon as I get back to a computer.
Thanks

My prayers for his quick recovery and future health. I know how alarming this kind of thing is.

Prayers on the way!
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Carlson1 asked me to post this update. He & the wife left the hospital about 3:00. Justin has the same heart problem the daughter does. It has to do w/ the electricl impulse portion of the heart. He could not say the name of it. Justin, Carl & Mom are understandably worried & request our continued prayers. He will post as soon as he can get to a Comp.
Father in heaven you know the needs of these earthly parents. Your Son Jesus received & healed many children. We ask today your calming grace for Justin & your servant Carl & wife. We ask for healing by the hand of our Great Physician in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Sounds like the part of the heart you're referring to is the sinoatrial node.

According to kidshealth.org, "The sinoatrial or SA node, a small area of tissue in the wall of the right atrium, sends out an electrical signal to start the contracting of the heart muscle."

Do you know if they are planning to install a pacemaker, or anything about what the treatment is?

Lord, we ask that you bless and keep Justin and Carl and their families whole and healthy. May your will be done. Amen.

We are HOME! Justin is feeling better. It appears he has what they call nero cardiogenic syncope. My daughter has this same problem. We will be seeing a Cardiac Electrophysiologist here in Dallas. He has a perscription that has helped him. It looks like my family is plagued with heart problems. Thank you for your prayers.
