Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

On the Jimmy Kimmel show tonight there was a skit where God and Satan did rock/paper/scissors to decide who should get Ted Cruz when the time came. God did rock and Satan did scissors so God won. Then God says "well, he's all yours" to Satan. Satan says "hey wait, you won!". God says "he's yours, I...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

I think we need to shut the government down for about a month or two to help us determine the "non-essential" jobs and then eliminate them. However, bought and paid for "representatives" would never do that.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Interesting how politicians that work to fulfill their campaign promises are villainized. Ted is one politician that has stands on principle and works hard to keep his promises as much as he can. Unfortunately, that makes him the butt of stupid skits and insults among the shallow thinkers. Apparentl...

Going to be interesting to see how this turns out. I wonder if anyone has filed a lawsuit challenging this yet? Very interested to learn how many get turned in.

Re: Obamacare was just ruled unconstitutional in Texas

Yes, I have been selling insurance for over 20 years. Medical malpractice claims have been capped in Texas. Medical malpractice premiums are not increasing like many docs and providers would like the general public to believe they are. The reason carriers are willing to pay the higher costs for care...

Re: Obamacare was just ruled unconstitutional in Texas

Unfortunately, ruling Obamacare unconstitutional will not reduce the cost of health insurance. Nothing will make a significant impact in reducing the cost health insurance until the cost of care is reduced drastically. The costof care is the primary driver of insurance premiums. Less regulation, mor...

Re: TX: Pair shot while breaking into vehicles

I just got word that the prosecutor has decided not to take the case to a grand jury. The two people did not get shot for burglary, they got shot for trying to run me over. I kept from commenting just in case. I still don't want to get into details for the same reason, but will say had they just dr...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

That meeting was strange. What was the point? I used to think I understood politics but nothing seems to make sense any more. :???: It seems to me the Dems don't want a wall. They appear to be concerned about increasing their voter base through illegal immigrants. The American people want the wall ...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Blah. Blah. Blah. Cutting through the noise, the bottom line for me in 2020, is I will not vote for the architect of a firearm accessory ban by non-legislative rule-making. Which Democrat do you want to see in the White House? What do you think that Democrat will do to our gun rights? May not want ...

Re: Food for Thought about Citizen Interventions

Perfect example of why you do not shoot first just because you draw your weapon. It doesn't take long to assess the actions of someone to determine if they are actually trying to rape someon or restrain them. Who has heard of a rapist continuing their sexual assault after someone tries to intervene ...

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Trump will have 3 Chiefs of Staff in 2 years... something that took Obama 3 years to accomplish. 3 Chief of Staffs in less than 3 years of being President: Part of the reason why @BarackObama can’t manage to pass his agenda. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 10, 2012 Trump Scorched Over ...

Re: Interesting question involving both 1st & 2nd Amendment

Which 'red flags' are you referring to? The FTC requirement that 'creditors' like auto dealerships and insurance agencies are required to have a policy and protocol in place to identify if I'm really who I say I am before they extend me credit (identity theft)? Or are you saying that auto credit an...
