Yeah, the occupiers have no responsibility for breaking the law, avoiding arrest, claiming they would never be taken alive, being armed and risking the lives of women and children. It's all the fault of the big bad police and government.

When one's cause is righteous, nothing else matters, not even the means and methods. As long as one is right in principle, it doesn't matter how they pursue the ends as the ends always justify the means. Same goes for dealing with getting open carry passed, some goes for protecting the lands from the feds, same goes for molesting and raping children in the name of religion while living in compounds and same goes for blowing up abortion clinics in the name of saving unborn children from murder.

The only mistakes made and bad faith that was perpetrated in this ordeal was all done by the government and authorities.

There is a difference between discrimination and persecution. You experienced discrimination as a result of affirmative action and it has absolutely nothing to do with what went on in Oregon.

It doesn't help to conflate issues just because one is upset and angry. Regardless how righteous the cause. Finicum brought it on himself.

I don't recall, were the wall street occupiers making it known they were armed and telling the authorities they wouldn't be taken alive while occupying buildings? I recall they were outside on public property and did not make it known they were armed and wouldn't be taken alive.

I didn't say they did nothing wrong. I believe I acknowledged they made mistakes. Why only look at what the police did wrong?

Why would they release the tapes of they were covering up something?

I only watch the synchronized video once but I saw nothing that supports the allegations that he was "slaughtered", "murdered" or "executed". He had broken the law and was a fugitive. He was known to be armed and had repeated to the officers he would not be taken alive and challenged them to shoot him. He refused multiple demands to exit the vehicle. He evaded arrest by not stopping and then running. He didn't surrender or comply with commands once out of the vehicle. He thought he could demand and dictate how the situation was going to be handled. All that and many still want to blame the government, agents and officers. It just doesn't work that way in the real world.

As far as as the children in the vehicle, shame on him for endangering their lives like he did. This whole thing could have been avoided if they hadn't illegally taken over the building and if he hadn't evaded arrest. Whether or not we like it or agree, we have to acknowledge authority and comply at times. He brought this on himself even if some of the officers or agents did made mistakes.

I do not like or agree with the government/BLM on the land issues. However, even though the cause may be righteous, their means were not. Taking over and occupying a government building is not the right way to handle it and any 3rd grader or above should be able to predict that strategy is not going to end well.

I think you are on to something. If we can imagine the conspiracy it must be true.

The time and date stamp on the video was addressed in the FBI press release in the link I provided. That was brought up by Alex Jones in one of his Infowars conspiracy theories.

I love it when I get lectured about remember the nazis when the person being supported is the kind of wonderful level headed patriot as featured in the links provided by Bitter Clinger.

I have not seen any label propagated by the feds. I came up with the armed fugitive label on my own based on what I've seen and read.

I do not rely on anti-government conspiracy theorists telling me what to think or believe.

Every situation can be second guessed. If Finicum was so intent on living and valued his life as much as others seem to on his behalf, he could have done things much differently as well.

His actions led to his death. If it would have been a street gang, people wouldn't be saying anything about how the authorities should have waited them out.

These folks were armed fugitives and Finicum had already vowed he would rather die than go to jail. He got his wish. Now he can be considered an antigovernment martyr.

I am look forward to seeing his bullet riddled vehicle. We have people that were involved saying there were over a hundred shots fired at them. We have an uninvolved eyewitness at the scene saying there were 5 or 6 shots fired. The cops already indicated they had shot the car with OC pellets and flashbang grenades.

I too want to see just how shot up the vehicle was. If there were over a 100 bullet holes in the vehicle I would be money there would be more casualties in the truck than one person shot in the arm.

In this case based on the supporting video, I tend to believe the proven liars called the FBI and the Oregon state police rather than the armed fugitives that have a vested interest in spinning the story to their favor.

If factual evidence comes out to the contrary, I'll reconsider my opinion.
