He helped his dad win the election. He met with some Russian trying to get dirt on Hillary. It didn't pan out, so he left. But it is guilt by association...association with Trump, with Republicans, and Russia (the MSM is so rabid over getting their tails whipped on this non-existent Russia angle they'll grasp at anything close).
