Re: AR15 Build from 80% lower

I've completed a couple of 80% lowers using a Little Machine Shop vertical mill, very fun project and I've used the mill (and my lathe) to machine a couple of suppressors. I have a stamp for one more suppressor - need to get busy with that.

Re: P365 ms or S&W shield 2.0

I bought a Ruger LC9s a few years ago for a lighter weight carry gun, while test firing it before using as my EDC the magazine would literally fall out. At first I thought it was me but it wasn't. Back to Ruger and they replaced the frame. I just don't trust it for an EDC. I had a Ruger SR40 and it ...

Re: Dayton, OH Active Shooter

Just how many people are out there right now, seething with such rage that they seize the chance to hurt and kill strangers? .... I have said this very same thing about three or four mass shootings ago. They are out there right now with their rage and hatred for ______ (fill in the blank) fermentin...

Re: Question

I'm not a lawyer or expert on License To Carry restrictions but a sign with a handgun with a red slash (commonly referred to as a gun-buster sign) basically means nothing as far as carrying. -However- if I saw a sign like that I would not openly carry even if legal, in other words, don't poke the be...

"Man1festo" can be found on 4chan and 8chan. One version here, as a jpg. For those interested. http://i.4pcdn.org/pol/1564859054539.jpg I tried to tweet a copy of this image about an hour ago, and I was instantly blocked from Twitter for 12 hours, for allegedly violating a rule. 891D9B5D-2757-4968-...

Geez, Jaykuan.

Is that any name to give a kid. No wonder he turned out bad.
Since it's not PC now to call out the perp's race, the first name is usually an accurate indicator. Hopefully this kid hasn't bred before getting shot by his accomplice.

Pigs are really smart and if there is day hunting pressure they learn to only come out at night from the underbrush.

Re: My new Sig P365XL & holster

I'm not sure that's correct but a) it would be highly unlikely they could determine I polished the feed ramp or b) that it had anything to do with a different problem or c) I can buy a new barrel. So, no worries :coolgleamA: .

Re: My new Sig P365XL & holster

All of this could have been avoided if Sig spent about 10 seconds finishing out the feed ramp, even so I still would have shot a few hundred rounds through the gun before I would carry it. Oh well.

Re: My new Sig P365XL & holster

TAM - I never got past the handgrip feels like a 2x4 thing with Glocks. Handled a Glock one time and that was enough  Talked with Sig yesterday, "shoot 500 rounds through it to polish the feed ramp." So this morning I polished up the feed ramp with my Proxxon rotary tool and a very, very fine s...

Re: My new Sig P365XL & holster

The few reports about the 365XL are really good, I'm really surprised about my FTF problems (lucky me.) My wife's P238 is very picky about hollow points, Hornady Critical Defense with the pointed bullet feeds 100%. I bought a brand new Ruger LC9s a few years ago for an EDC gun and the magazine would...

Re: My new Sig P365XL & holster

Well, dang it :totap: Started having fail to feed problems after about 150 rounds of various factory ammo. To my amazement, Remington UMC target 115 grain ammo would not load - period. No way Jose. PMC 115 grain full metal jacket worked great, I also ran Geco 124 grain FMC with no problems. Winchest...

Re: Uh-oh... Trouble with my P239 EDC

How 'bout dat - the 40 caliber barrel and three 40 cal magazines with HP ammo work flawlessly :thumbs2: . I'm guessing the 357 Sig magazines have weak springs. Not such good luck with the P365XL, I'll cover that in my P365XL thread.
