Re: Five Officers Shot In Philadelphia

I would not say anything if there were deaths or serious injuries, but the police tactics seemed really poor. Were they using drones? Did they even have gas as an option? When the city govt is against the police, they just phone it in? 190814-philadelphia-police-shooting-ac-1159_6b2f719807cd89c3a3da...

Re: Lots of people buying guns/ammo at the border.

I did some analysis. DPS publishes new LTCs by county by year (calendar or fiscal). They break down by ethnicity, but that was not what was interesting at the time. I can't remember the source, but I got population by county. Using that, and the DPS stats, I got that the new LTCs in the El Paso cou...

Re: Lots of people buying guns/ammo at the border.

... In regards to the statement I highlighted in red, I thought I read (maybe on this forum) that El Paso has a rather low percentage of LTC holders compared to the population there. I don't know where to find that information to verify or debunk that, just going off of what I read. I did some anal...

Re: El Paso Walmart Shooting

Hypothetical test question: You're legally carrying, with your SO on a shopping outing, and you hear gunfire within the store, what do you THINK you would do? I have heard that no one knows if he can run to gunfire until he has done it. I know what I hope I would do. I will be looking at upgrading ...

Re: El Paso Walmart Shooting

El Paso county has 2.9% of the state population. The county with the least new LTCs per capita in 2017 is Maverick (0.27%). The most is Borden co with 5.5% per capita. Borden co has 673 residents. El Paso is on the low end at 0.46% new LTCs per capita. This pattern goes back to 2012, when I stopped ...

Fire first, train second is no way to run anything. I personally don't care if they go out of business over this.

Castle Hills City Councilwomen arrested

The government of Castle Hills has been self-destructive for a while. I live close by. I go to the council meetings sometimes for the entertainment.

Trump sort of uninvites women’s soccer team.

Apparently none wanted to come anyway.

Re: Sam’s Club WiFi blocking gun forums

This kind of stuff is usually done by the contracted internet suppliers. It's not like Sam's IT staff does not have better things to do, especially for such a tiny feature as guest WiFi.

Edit: Someone might be able to find out who this contractor is.

Re: Jeffery Epstein arrested in NYC for sex trafficking of minors

What I'm about to say may offend people but I don't care. I truly believe they need to bring back public Hanging to put fear back into society. Expecially child molesters that have been proven guilty with no doubt and with total evidence. Also for these people who shoot up schools, maybe bring back...

To be honest, when Trump announced he was running in the primary's, I was wondering why a person who had been with the Democrats all their life would run as a Republican.
Revenge, plain and simple.
Now that Obama's legacy has been disposed of, this is funny.

Re: Trump: Banning Suppressors?

Trump’s admin just released a brief to the supreme court on it’s 2A views. To sum it up very briefly they defined silencers or suppressors as “dangerous and unusual weapons.” A suppressor/silencer is neither a weapon, nor dangerous and/or unusual. Talk about a 180 flip on views when compared to run...

I doubt the dialect of "French" they need translating is anything anyone around here is capable of.
