To be honest, when Trump announced he was running in the primary's, I was wondering why a person who had been with the Democrats all their life would run as a Republican.
Revenge, plain and simple.
Now that Obama's legacy has been disposed of, this is funny.

Re: Trump: Banning Suppressors?

Trump’s admin just released a brief to the supreme court on it’s 2A views. To sum it up very briefly they defined silencers or suppressors as “dangerous and unusual weapons.” A suppressor/silencer is neither a weapon, nor dangerous and/or unusual. Talk about a 180 flip on views when compared to run...

I doubt the dialect of "French" they need translating is anything anyone around here is capable of.

Re: Trump: Banning Suppressors?

President Trump is a businessman and NOT a knowledgeable guy when it comes to firearms. I believe that he is getting advice from those that are either ignorant on the subject, or are flat out lying to him. I wish those who are knowledgeable and in a position to converse with him would do a better j...

If you are not someone who runs to gunfire, but runs away, that's just the way God and life made you. Pretending to be the one who will run to gunfire, and having the world see that that is a lie, is a fate worse than anything.

Re: Governor signs bill banning red light cameras in Texas

I can't be sure the 2 are Leon Valley and Balcones Heights. That was a guess.

Leon Valley had a previous defense that every ticket was reviewed by an officer, so that the tickets were not machine generated. I hope their city budget does not include the funds to continue to argue this.

Re: So What Do They Want?

There are 2 broad categories of "they". One is those who would be your rulers. The other is useful idiots. Some of the latter group can be fixed or "re-educated".

Re: Governor signs bill banning red light cameras in Texas

the problem is that someone...I can't remember who, in the House, added an Amendment that allows cities to complete their contracts. There is one here in San Antonio that won't complete until 34, they renewed their contract during the session. They had to renew it before May 7 for the law to allow ...

Re: Firearm in vehicle at work

I would enjoy writing them a note informing them of state law. One might find a hungry lawyer to take a wrongful termination suit on contingency. Somebody has to be case law.: Just to be clear, I was offering, as a 3rd party observer who had heard about the situation, to write a letter. I was...

Re: The importance of Pre-existing Knowledge for SD

And, yet again, just something else to make me even more cynical about our so-called "justice" system, which is biased toward violent criminals. DAs and ADAs who consider good people with clean records to be guilty until they can prove they are innocent, while bending over backwards to let violent ...

Re: California Move to Restrict Deadly Force

Did not read the article, but it seems that less-than-lethal force needs to be very much more effective and foolproof. And less-than-lethal should not mean less-than-really-hurt.

Does anyone know what the electrolytic process was to remove the rust? Initially the anode is the work piece, but at the end it shows the work piece being the cathode.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/07/us/trump-tax-figures.html New York Times snags Trump’s old tax returns. Apparently during a time when he was losing a lot of money. Are there laws against possessing a person’s tax returns without their permission? NYT from 1995. They knew all of this. There is no...

Re: Government regulation of social media?

Isn't this the whole conundrum? If tech companies own the medium, and we are free to use or not use or use our own, then they have the right to what is, or is not, allowed on their property? All other free-enterpise mediums get to chose their agenda. The real issue is that Facebook, Twitter, etc., ...
