Carry Prohibited?

I have a gut feeling on this one, but I always like to look at what the law says when a student asks me a question. I welcome y'all's opinion on this:

Situation: High school graduation is being held at the University of Houston Fertitta Center

Relevant Info:
Per the UoH Campus Carry page, this ...

Re: Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp Holster?

I've long been a brand evangelist for Crossbreed holsters. I've carried IWB with one for years now, and I've never been dissatisfied.

I've tried the Velcro clips with a Velcro-lined belt (VERY SECURE) and the standard clips (still perfect). My wife uses the Utiliclip option since she doesn't wear a ...

No Check, No Sale Bill

I read this on USACarry today. I don’t think it has much chance of passing, but you never know what could happen with the weak-spined so-called conservatives that we have in D.C.

9 mags, $90 shipped?

I’ll pick them up from you in Missouri City, if that makes it easier.

If these will fit my 17, then I’ll buy.

Re: Texas High Court Limits Self Defense Law

Leo,

I hear you on wanting a “Reader’s Digest” version. The law can get dense fast, and even instructors have to revisit it from time to time to keep it straight.

One thing I always tell people is that you do not necessarily need a new book or a long reading list to get a solid refresher ...

I'd contact the RSD directly.

After I submitted my renewal request on the DPS website, I received this email:

Re: My mom passed away

Sorry to hear about your loss, Chris. Losing a parent is difficult - I lost my dad in my 20's, but I'm blessed to still have my mom around.
Prayers for you and your family during this difficult time.

Re: Can the USPS get any worse?

This is at least partly based on the authority of the judge to issue junctions. As per a recent SCOTUS decision, district court judges cannot issue blanket injunctions. They can issue injunctions just for the parties who sued, either individually or as members of a class if a class action suit is ...

Election Clerks Needed, Northwest Houston

It’s election season again, and as Presiding Judge for my precinct, I’m building my team for Election Day, 4 November.

This is a paid position (including a short online training). We’ll be working a polling place near Bridgeland in northwest Houston—about a 12-hour day with breaks. By law, poll ...

Civil War II. The left wants it. At some point they will likely get it. It won't go well for them. I'm beginning to alter my thinking from please never to let's get it over with and be rid of the left once and for all.

And they'll do all they can to make sure that we're the side to blame for it ...

Re: Charlie Kirk Shot

I have a theory about this shooting. I think it was an orchestrated effort with many involved. The two people taken into custody and questioned were distractions to let the real shooter escape while law enforcement dealt with the first guy and the second guy dressed in black and running away was a ...
