I purchased too many guns recently so am on a self-imposed hiatus until 2019. Seeing these Pythons is not helping.

Scott, you’re welcome to join me at the range here in Houston to take her for a ‘spin’.

Re: Why Did 'Asian' Replace The Word 'Oriental' & Other Things?

When I was in Bangkok, the locals used a fork and spoon, although the fork was mainly used to put food on the spoon. This is correct. The Thai don’t use chopsticks. And, in many SE Asian cultures that do use for & spoon, the spin is the dominant-hand utensil, with the fork in the weak hand for ripp...

+1 for Randy Warren and his holsters.

He custom made mine to order. He was a pleasure to work with, and his leatherwork skills are legendary.

Gun appraisals in Houston

Does anyone know of a good gun appraiser here on Houston? A friend of ours is looking for one.

Re: Maldives: Shame on Accor Hotels for being so insensitive

Its their country, shrug...Folks go to different nations and cultures and treat those areas as if it is their own. Then get all shocked when the locals don't believe as they do. As far as modern art goes, I have my own thoughts, our current culture's modern art sure isn't Michelangelo or Raphael, s...

Lots more Cruz signs going up now here in my neck of the woods (Westchase district, Houston).
Including the one in my yard that went up this week.

This is the addendum the office used. They check marked Option 1 and Option 2 on the addendum. What do y'all think?
Looks valid to me. Carry only to and from your apartment and vehicle, it seems.

Re: Apartment Lease Contract Handgun Addendum

Since it was written notice, the wording needed to match the wording in 30.06 and 30.07 exactly, I believe. Additionally, it must be in both English and Spanish. This is not true. If it is on a posted sign, it must be in both languages, but a written communication handed to you (as this one was) do...

Re: Ted Cruz Sign

I ordered mine from his site this morning. My neighbors won't likely be a problem, but I do (unfortunately) live on a cut-through street in my neighborhood. I'll probably run a bare electrical wire (electric dog fence) around the sign when it arrives and I install it.

Re: Houston West Quadrant Breakfast

I'm trying, but I can't commit yet. I had a lot of IT downtime at work this week, and I'm here at home with another couple hours left to finish up.

Hopefully we can get this one back on track again soon...sorry!
