Re: Everytown Files Lawsuit Over Texas 30.06/30.07 signs for being "burdensome"

Its called Constitutional Carry. I may be wrong here, but I think there is a difference. Vermont has Constitutional (no permit required) Carry but “no guns”signs still have force of law. I wouldn't call that Constitutional Carry but I get your point and could see having to put language in a bill to...

Re: Everytown Files Lawsuit Over Texas 30.06/30.07 signs for being "burdensome"

I like the class action lawsuit idea against this group. Not as a way to get any money from them but to turn the table so to speak and force them to bleed money thru legal fees. Much the same way that has been done to pro-gun organizations. Does there lawsuit slander all of us with a texas3006.com ...

Re: Everytown Files Lawsuit Over Texas 30.06/30.07 signs for being "burdensome"

Well, there is a simple solution to make the entire suit moot:

Make it such that no variant of any “no guns” sign has the force of law. Call it the “Florida technique”, or the “Georgia provision”, or the “most-places-in-Montana-except-that-liberal-infested-pit-named-Missoula” accord.

Re: Everytown Files Lawsuit Over Texas 30.06/30.07 signs for being "burdensome"

The very premise of this suit is flawed. Specifically, Texas property owners who espouse this viewpoint must post multiple large, text-heavy signs containing language specified by the State in order to exercise the longest established and most fundamental of their property rights: the right to exclu...

https://apple.news/AxJY3XPdsRRej4O1dzbeZ3g Son goes to Chicago to pursue his PHD, he dies within 5 hours of arriving. His mom blames guns. That story is recounting events that happened in 2018. Tragic, yes. But apple news is passing it off as current (for those who never read past the headline).

Re: Happy Birthday Vol Texan

Thank you all! It was an incredible day - Mrs. Vol Texan was in the hospital all week, and today was her first full day at home.

I am very blessed.

And over the weekend my birthday gift arrived.

Has your friend checked the prices of 6.5 Creedmore rifles?
He has that one in stock already. He’s considering getting the other if it is a better choice. That’s the underlying reason for this ask for guidance from y’all.

I should have added that to the OP - my bad.

Recommendations for starter rifle for daughter

I was asked by a colleague at work today about what would be a good starter deer rifle for his daughter. I'm not a hunter, nor am I much of a rifle guy, so I figured I'd post the question here for y'all smarter folks to weigh in on. I mentioned this forum, and told him I'd post the question for him,...

Re: RV Road trip

I was raised in Bristol. Left there for Texas in ‘92, but the area has great memories, and I return periodically to breathe the fresh air and drink the mountain water.

I know a lot of ideas for you there, and along the way home. I’ll send you a PM with my phone number and we can talk.

It reads to my layman’s eyes to be a panel of three.
