Re: What is privilege

I'm just going to leave this here. I had the opportunity to attend this event at Wiley College last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxEuHNtxe2Y Well spoken, the easy path is to blame others for our troubles even if there wasn't anyone. It is hard to accept responsibility for our troubles and ...

Re: If you could only carry a revolver

My latest favorite carry revolver is a S&W 625 mountain gun 4" in 45 Colt. I have spotted a S&W 3" 696 44 special that I put on layaway that will probably take that favorite spot. That 3" 5 shot will carry a wee bit better. :biggrinjester:

Re: Self-Defense / Tactical Pens

Most "Tac" pens are pretty tacky, and very obvious. Countycomm's offering is a best-of: https://countycomm.com/collections/pens/products/brass-embassy-pen I have carried a stainless embassy pen for about 4 years. I love it. It is much heavier than any other pen I have owned. It can be used like a k...

Re: Online Renewal

They will give you access exactly 6 months before expiration. Just did mine it now says mailed. It took about 3 weeks if I am remembering correctly. It did not give me the option till the 6 months before mark.

Re: Lock VS Pre-lock S&W’s

I know 2 people that had the lock engage while shooting. A 329 pd and a 638 airweight. The one with the 329 used locktight to render the lock inoperable, the airweight had a lock delete kit put in it. I have shot the airweight and it needed a trigger job but wasn't to bad. Hope this helps. The lock ...

I haul fuel, no slow down here . I did notice less traffic on my routes today than the last few days.
Thank you for the work you do. I appreciate fuel!
Your welcome, I have noticed that vehicles tend not to run without fuel.😁

Re: RDS v. Iron Sights: Not just for old blind guys

So how many of you guys carry, or plan to carry with a RDS mounted on your carry-gun? The points made about putting the time in to get acclimated certainly seem valid, as far as range use. In a defensive shooting scenario, can you get a shot on target as quickly? ;-) What little experience I have w...

Re: Sig P365 XL???

A friend of mine got a 365XL for Christmas and showed to to me...the first 365 I’ve handled. It seemed well made, and had a nice heft to it, without seeming heavy. I don’t know if I like it well enough to want to buy one. I put one in my hand today, to small for me. The smallest carry pistol I have...

Re: RDS v. Iron Sights: Not just for old blind guys

I have a friend with a Shadow with a Holosun on it that I got to play with today. Can't say I like the sight at all, I was all over the board with it and my eye focus problem kept wanting to find the iron sights. At this time I will stick with my iron sights.
