I never understand why some leo wants to know where you are going? Is that relevant?
I guess it could be if you said you were going by a brothel to deliver some (insert drug of choice).

Re: TX: Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville shuts down

When I was young, my father had a Mooney and flew out of Houston. He was an AF pilot and retired. When I was young, I took the controls and flew the aircraft for a short period of time. I did this a couple of times. When I got older, dad could not understand the lunacy of me jumping out of aircraft...

Re: TX: Mooney Aircraft in Kerrville shuts down

Unfortunately, general aviation has just gotten too expensive for the average guy. When I first started flying in 1971, a nice Piper Cherokee 140 rented for $15 per hour wet and am older Cessna 150 rented for $5 per hour plus gas which was about .35 per gallon and running rich used about 8 gallons ...

Re: Forum members dog poll

My 15 1/2 year old best friend died, so I am without a dog now. Very sorry for your loss. 15 years is a nice age to retire to doggie heaven. Give it time, the pain will lessen and eventually you will be ready to find a new pal. Don't ask how I know. Just think about it this way: your best friend is...

Re: FL: Father kills son in law accidentally with one shot from .380

This reminds me of an incident back in junior high school. One halloween, a couple of guys dared another guy to walk down a path in the cemetery at night. He accepted the challenge, but one of the other guys was hiding behind a tombstone. When he walked by the tombstone, the prankster jumped out to ...

This gotta be a record for the world's brightest Glow Post . Yall have fun with that... :nono: So, for the sake of the argument, let us go with the OP being a "glowpost". What would the possible agent have to gain on THIS particular forum by posting that? It should be obvious to anyone who bothers ...

Re: Dillon Blue Press: Interesting Article

Charles, Yep, it was Mark. Took a Response to Active Shooter class this summer at KR Training. We were told that, at the gay bar shooting in Florida, there was a LEO there and that the LEO emptied two magazines but never hit the shooter. More ammo does not turn someone into a good shooter. Reminds ...

Re: Bernie vs Trump

Who hasn't heard the terms "monkeying around", "monkey it up"? Monkeying/Monkey is used in place of lots of words to make: screwing around, foolin' around, messing around, ___ing around, etc. Same with monkey: mess it up, screw it up, ___ it up- NONE OF THOSE ARE RACIST IN ANY FORM OR FASHION. Anyo...

I will stick with what I know works for me. Of course I am pigheaded. :biggrinjester: I joined the Marines when it was not cool, only stupid people who could not hold a Real Job in the World joined. :smash: Carried the 1911 for more than a decade before the transition to the Beretta. :mad5 Unit I w...
