Re: DHS purchases 2700 MRAPs

don't see a relationship between the two circumstances. Hurting or even killing someone with a pocket knife will not get you into the cockpit these days, and injuring or killing one or two people on a plane won't be perceived by anyone as justifying drone strikes in the U.S. A pocketknife with a no...

Re: UN: Colo., Wash. legal pot violates drug treaties

I find this hard to believe as Holland is an EU member and so are several other countries in Europe that have far more lax drug laws and they have been doing this for years. The EU in my opinion is the first in line to cooperate with the UN and its demands.

Re: DHS purchases 2700 MRAPs

I also have questioned the veracity of the article about 2700 tanks because I can find no mainstream media outlet even Drudge Report that can verify this claim. However I do not think it impossible, in fact I think it could be quite likely most of these large media outlet have long ago abandoned any...

Re: Arent all semi-auto pistols going to fall under the ban?

Yes, I agree in fact if you look at the original list of the current POTUS (I cant stand even mentioning his name anymore) executive actions, they are all worded so loosely (like a 13 year old, and that is even being disrespectful to 13 year olds, sorry) that these actions and laws can be taken to m...

Arent all semi-auto pistols going to fall under the ban?

Feinstein "“It also bans any other assault weapon, which is defined as a semi-automatic weapon that can accept a detachable magazine and has one military characteristic, such as a pistol grip, barrel shroud, or folding stock…These features were developed for military weapons to make them more effect...

Hmm, it seems murder rate is down to 1950's level here in Dallas. http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/hr.asp?fpVname=TX_DMN" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If you want to read the article here: http://webmedia.newseum.org/newseum-multimedia/dfp/pdf3/TX_DMN.pdf" onclick="window.ope...

Re: Senate To Go After Some Handguns

Really? Your XD and AR-15? Funny, but ALL of my weapons with 'military characteristics' were recently all lost in a 'tragic boating accident'. The problem is that even if you could potentially say that you have lost all your guns in a boating accident, you will never be able to use them because you...

Re: Dallas Police Officer threatens to Revoke my license

"As I see things at this point you asked a question, we gave an answer. Our answer is not one that you agree with, our theory isn't one you can subscribe to and therefore you are becomming intractable or purposely obtuse in reading the answers. Re: Dallas Police Officer threatens to Revoke my license

"I will not legitimize your continued attempt to paint all LEO's as unprofessional" who said I was attempting anything, so you are saying that my experience with cops has to be the same as yours, or its invalid? Whatever then. Thanks.

Re: Dallas Police Officer threatens to Revoke my license

I am not so much trying to state a position, more trying to pose a question to see what people think. I would like to hear opinions on this as I am not decided on what to do in that situation but in my opinion and from my experience most of the cops that I have dealt with when I am by myself tend to...

Re: Dallas Police Officer threatens to Revoke my license

I see a lot of people saying to refuse a search, my feeling is that a refusal only makes you look more suspicious and most cops already view people as having something to hide and with so many unscrupulous cops with power trips out there if you refuse they will just bring a dog and claim the dog is ...

This is my first scope so I cant really comment technically on how great it is but I had purchased another scope at Walmart for 30 bucks that had great reviews but it was too long (12+ Inches Barska brand http://www.walmart.com/ip/Barska-CO11538-Colorado-3-9X40-Silver/15819410" onclick="window.open(...

Re: Oh NO! They're coming to Texas!

The issue is that the densely populated urban areas get a level of power disproportionate to the size of the entire State. Our Founding Fathers realized this, too, which is why they established the Electoral College to elect the President, and didn't use the entire popular vote. Why is that, is the...

Re: Eliminate Property Taxes?

Taxpayers are hoodwinked by paying taxes through payroll deduction and property taxes via mortgage payments. It's a case of "out of sight, out of mind" One doesnt appreciate the high tax rate or the inordinate bureaucratic waste until having to write a check like any other household expense; a prac...
