My personal opinion, without any "special" information, is that the Governor will probably want to get the redistricting out of the way and put to bed before throwing other items into the mix.

Redistricting is going to be contentious enough with out bargaining for other items as a distraction.

THEN we can get it on.

• Legislation which ratifies and adopts the interim redistricting plans ordered by the federal district court as the permanent plans for districts used to elect members of the Texas House of Representatives, Texas Senate and United States House of Representatives.
