I generally have respect for the police, and believe that most officers want to do their jobs and increase public safety. However, that was a garbage move by the Minn Supreme Court. At least that man-2 conviction is still a felony, and he won't be allowed to (legally) have firearms. Minnesota Supreme Court tosses murder conviction of Police Officer who murdered an unarmed Australian woman who called 911 to report noises in her alley. Woman came up to the police car at drivers window to assist the officers. Startled the officer in the passenger seat who then drew and fired from within the car just in front of his partners nose killing her instantly.
Reduced to manslaughter 2, sounds like 40 months instead of 12 years.
