http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/08/trump-pentagon-pick-says-its-insane-for-civilians-to-own-semi-automatic-weapons.html I may get in trouble with other members of the committee just say how insane it is that in the United States of America a civilian can go out and buy a semi-automatic like...

Typical leftist tripe. Donald Trump Jr. does not work in the administration and he neither has nor has he applied for security clearance.

Re: What is status Restoration of Gun Rights in Austin?

The Legislature could convene on Jan 2nd, immediately go into recess until May 30th and then adjourn. If they did absolutely nothing for 140 days 95% would get re-elected.

Hey, why don't you talk about Khan's association with Muslim Brotherhood, his law firm with intention on specifically abusing the EB5 visas bringing in more Muslims, a website that he took down once the word got out? Or how about starting a "Hillary" thread? There's plenty to talk about there. If y...

Re: Car burglaries = gun jackpot

While reading these postings I had a thought. Many folks, me included like to put NRA, and other gun related decals on their vehicles. I'm starting to wonder if this is such a good idea. I'm wondering if those decals are an invitation for thieves. Just walk through a parking garage and look for gun...

I'll try to answer these one at a time...... The people who elected him are naive. Did they elect him to be their hero, or did they elect him to effectively represent their interests? TAM, you are the most eloquent writer on this board and I always respect your opinion, however this is the 3rd or 4...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....

As a professor, I cannot second your lament of the bureaucratic nonsense that happens at colleges and universities. It used to be that the faculty were the schools and the fundamental governing body. However, the USDE, through requirements hoisted upon the recognized accreditors (to keep their USDE...

My take on SB11 I am 64 yrs old, a chl instructor and a full time college student. My wife, daughter and granddaughter are also college students. In 3 yrs attending college, after 45 yrs in the business world, I have found that going to class, studying, writing essay's, and taking exams is the easy ...

Re: denton city council plans to lobby against OC

It's UNT. It's a super liberal college. My girlfriend attends. I make a point to wear some sort of "freedom" shirt any time I go visit her. Some of the stories she has told me about some of her fellow students make me worry for the future of our country. Don't worry. UNT grads don't go on to run an...

Re: H.B. 216 - Under 21 to get CHL?

Am I reading it right, is the sole purpose of this allowing people aged 18-20 to get a CHL even if not in the military? Wouldn't this cause serious reciprocity issues? I believe it would, but if not I'd still be against it I think. Thoughts? So, do you think 18-20 year olds should be denied their r...

Re: HB195 v. HB??/SB??: Are storm clouds gathering?

As I've said, something tells me two more open-carry bills are going to be filed; one in the House and one in the Senate. Like licensed open-carry bills already filed, these also will be licensed open-carry. Rep. Stickland has filed HB195 that would remove the requirement to obtain a CHL to carry o...
