Re: Aaaarg, does anyone have complerte AR uppers in stock??!
Cheaper Than Dirt Outdoor Adventures had some in stock 2 weeks ago for $800.00 & up. The past couple of times I've been in there they have had plenty in stock, but they're waaaaay overpriced imo. They also had stripped lowers for $180.00 and complete lowers for $400.00 & up. Keep in mind thi...

Re: New York Massacre Ridiculous Story Time.
Everytime I read one of these stories it makes me want to do 2 things: 1. Strangle the suspect, if he / she hasnt already expired, for giving the anti's more fuel for their agenda. 2. Strangle the so called "journalists" "rlol" who write these stories and slather them with their ...

Re: Poll on KTRH website about CC at work- Vote!!
I sent the KTRH station manager the following email: Name: Jason ***** City: Forth Texas ZIP: 76137 Message: I saw your Question of the day poll this morning and am wondering, did you intentionally make it misleading because your station has an agenda, or was it done out of simple ignorance? The cur...

Re: New M4
What kind of man desecrates a defenseless fire extinguisher?! "rlol" That was a great shot, very nice indeed - theres nothing quite like watching stuff go boom I am tired of shooting paper, I want reactive targets. I agree that punching holes in paper has gotten rather boring. If you have ...

Re: CHL not recognized by bank as valid ID?
I had a similar experience at Chase a few weeks ago. My wife and I went in to get a cashiers check for a fairly significant sum of money and they asked for a 2nd form of id. I handed the teller my CHL as its the only other form of id I carry. She took on a "deer in the headlights" stare fo...

Re: Here we go...
Gee, like we didnt see this coming a mile away. Everyone who believed the "messiah's" promise that he supports the 2nd amendment are truely fools. Now I gotta figure out a way to buy an AR along with a truck load of ammo & parts for it before this goes into effect. Now here is a headli...

At least he wasnt able to shoot any Brothers in Blue. Maybe in jail he can study some gun safety. He wont be studying anything in jail, he is taking a dirt nap...... NORMAL, Ill. — A man suspected of robbing four banks died several hours after being shot by police following a high-speed chase aroun...

Re: BEWARE buying ammo etc. from Cabella's
Given the number of people that park in the ammo aisle and stare like deer in headlights at the boxes like they have never seen ammo before I would think that little switcharoo would be difficult to do. I went to the offending Cabella's Friday and the ammo aisles were in complete gridlock, which is ...

Re: Firearms owners and shooters who aren't 100%
This whole business of worrying about what other people need or dont need based on your own personal attitudes / preferences is imo a large part of whats wrong with our society. We are always trying to dictate how everyone else lives. Its time to butt out people. Too bad if your neighbor bought a Hu...

Re: Apt Maint. snooping around guns
I had an incident once where maintenance had entered my apt to replace all the electrical outlets. Appearantly they were replacing the outlets in all the units of the complex, yet failed to notify the residents beforehand. I came home from work one day and discovered both the front door as well as t...

Re: R/C Helicopter with Mounted 1911
I suspect that this guy might be getting some unwanted attention from the local LEO. I also suspect somewhere in the next month or so some teenager will severely injure themselves or someone else attempting to duplicate this. A pistol mounted on an R/C helicopter, combined with an onboard camera, wo...

Re: How private do you keep your CHL status?
Everyone I work with knows I carry, and several co-workers have CHLs as well. The president of my company gave me permission to carry at work after an incident last year with a disgruntled temporary worker so its pretty much an open subject discussed often, along with firearms in general. (were all ...
