Re: Ninth Circuit strikes California’s "May Issue"

We seem to have lost rights incrementally, so perhaps we can get some of them back incrementally ? I believe that we here in Texas should get our 2nd Amendment rights recognized under the Texas law step by step over the next two or three sessions. I suggest we begin in 2015 with expanded concealed c...

Chicago Gun Laws

Hey citizens of Chicago, how are those extremely strict gun laws working out for you ???? http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/1-Dead-12-Wounded-in-Overnight-Shootings-211673851.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; There are still 12 hours left in the weekend. If they work a...

Re: Check out HB38 filed today

Just for the record, many of the above posts have content that says "styxx wrote: If it doesn't happen before bedtime today, the odds of Perry adding to the call go way down." I did not write that. bladed did. :???:

Re: Check out HB38 filed today

Does anyone have any positive evidence that the Special Session Call will be extended to include handgun issues ? If so, does anyone have any insight on the chances of something like HB3218 being added to the list ?

Re: Special Session -- 2013

I get far too confused with the "starting over with new bill numbers in the Special Session" thing . . . I communicated to the Governor's office asking for additions to the Special Session agenda using the "old" (HB 3218, HB 508, etc.) bill numbers, but described each for clarifi...

Re: If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility

I seem to have stirred up a lot of comment. It appears to have generated some pretty good conversation by some, but also appears to have hit a raw nerve on others. I have my opinions as to when it is best to fight and when it is best to save the fight for another day. My perspectives were developed,...

Re: If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility

I cannot help but to wonder how many of the saber rattlers on this thread have actually worn the uniform during times of conflict. I hear and listen far more closely to the thoughts of folks like irpettit and suthdj and E.Marques than any of the sabre rattlers.

Re: Gun Rights Across America...

Are these the in-your-face people who seemed to do absolutely everything they possibly could to kill HB700 and HB3218 ????? It would seem to me that anyone who really cared about progress for our 2nd amendment rights and freedoms might actually think about it for more than 2 seconds. If they did, th...

Re: Shaking my head

I guess that far too many politicians believe that if all the dead people quit voting and all the other voting fraud got significantly curtailed, many of them cuold not get reelected. Bummer.

Re: Is HB 3218 Dead ?

"rlol" Naw. I have scribbled out much longer sentences that ramble even more than that one and it usually seems to happen most often when I am seriously disappointed and frustrated and my thoughts begin to run together in a way that is confusing even to me and I am the one that is putting ...

Is HB 3218 Dead ?

Any word on HB 3218 ?? From all the chatter on the Forum and the recurring bad news statements being quoted, it appears that HB 700 and the several campus carry related bills have been completely killed by a very few liberal leaning legislators that have been strongly encouraged to hold their positi...

Thanks BaldEagle - That is what I thought, but you expressed it better than I could. When I start getting discouraged folks like you help pull me up again. Thanks ! That is the main reason that I am now active on this forum as opposed to other forums that will remain nameless.
