Re: Friend with Alzheimer's

My dad has late stage Alzheimer's and it was tough on him and us when we had to take his keys, gun, and both license's away. He was very angry but after a while, he didn't remember either. He has asked about his keys several times but we just tell him he must have laid them down somewhere and he for...

Re: .38 Special S&W 640

We had the same issue with my wife. She carried a P938 for a while until she went on a womens only range trip and realized she couldn't rack the slide. Tried an XD9 sub compact. It was okay for a while until arthritis got worse. She decided to go to a revolver as well but went with a Model 640 in .3...

Re: Connecticut assault victim gets 18 months in jail for stabbing attacker

Dad taught me to never start a fight. However, if someone else started it he expected me to fight like I was the 3rd gorilla getting on the Ark and brother, it has started to rain.

Re: For those who carry a 5” 1911

When I carry a 4" or 5" 1911, I use the Galco Concealable Belt Holster. However, when I carry a 3", I use a Don Hume slide holster H710. With either set up, I carry 2 spare mags on the other side to help balance the weight. This has been my set up for several years now.
