Re: 2024 NRA B.O.D. ballot
In 1977 Neal Knox and Harlon Carter led what is known as the revolt at Cincinnati where the NRA board of directors were replaced and many changes were implemented. Jeff Knox is Neal's son, and Jeff wants to see the NRA operate more like The Firearms Coalition. Speaking of The Firearms Coalition, Jef...

Re: HIgh Tech South American gangs breaking into expensive homes
I remember my mother answering the door with a single action revolver and our GSD. The guy at the door begged her not to let the dog go. When the police picked him up he swore my mother didn't have a gun, just a big scary dog that wanted to get him. All the dog did was growl at the guy. Dogs are a g...

Re: Missing tourist submarine at Titanic wreck site
Navy subs which have tons of money, R&D, testing, and standards have a certain number of times they can dive before they are considered unsafe. This sub was built on a shoe string budget, one (possibly the only) engineer involved in it's development had concerns about the safety of the thing so ...

Re: Armed robbery scenario
I recently had the opportunity to review video of a takeover style armed robbery. I can't go into detail, but I will share my observations. The target was a business, two goblins entered moments after an employee left but before the last employee had secured the front door. Suspects were in and out ...

Re: Palm-in or Palm-Out Draw from Rear Pocket
How would you pull your wallet if it were in that pocket? Determine that and use it, you likely have that muscle memory already and should use it. Ideally I would recommend palm in as the booger hook can remain out of the pocket (and off the bang switch) until the draw is complete.

Maybe you are going about it the wrong way. Use the scripture to make your point. There is plenty of discussion on this forum to point you in the right direction.

Re: Battery Power Stations … anyone shop or buy one?
In actuality LiFePo4 batteries tend to weigh less than other battery types with the same capacity, additionally the way capacity is measured you will see more run time with a LiFePo4 battery than a lead acid or AGM battery of the same capacity rating. The real downside to LiFePo4 batteries is the c...

Re: Battery Power Stations … anyone shop or buy one?
I've had a Goal Zero Yeti 400 and a Sherpa 100 with a 100 and a smaller 20 watt solar panel for a few years now. I use them a lot when I go off grid camping in New Mexico and Colorado. I mostly use them for charging up electronics like phones, tablet, laptop, drone, and GoPro's. But they have also ...

Re: Battery Power Stations … anyone shop or buy one?
I use a lot of solar, but its all DYI and for 12v systems. An all-in-one portable unit is fine for emergency use when you want to keep a device going like a refrigerator, but it is not as capable as a generator of comparable size. Overall consider how much wattage you will need and buy appropriately...
