Thanks everyone. Your prayers are very much appreciated and I will pass them along to my family. We are having her funeral Saturday morning and I’ve been asked to be one of the pall bearers.
My wife and I have been talking about her today and we know that all of her memories have come back and she gets to see her oldest son, my uncle, again. We lost him about 30 years ago. Right after her dementia set in, she could only refer to him as “that boy”. It was heartbreaking.

In need of prayers
My family and I need prayers. My grandmother passed away last night.
My grandmother had dimentia for the past 6-7 years and the doctors kept telling us she was as healthy as horse but yesterday she took a turn for the worst. I only have my grandfather left and I’m really worried about him. She was his life. He would drive to the nursing home twice a day everyday to visit and feed her. Now, I don’t know what he’s going to do.
We knew this day was coming but no one is ever prepared for it.
