Re: Ruger announces new .40 cal PC Carbine model

.40 cal makes sense, it just requires a few changes from 9mm. Agree. I'm guessing that since the Glock 9mm and .40 cal share frames, the magazine adapter didn't need to change. To go to a .45, they would need to make a new magazine adapter for the Glock mags. 9mm to .40 was probably just a barrel s...

Re: Is the SIG P365 fixed?

I wanted one of these when they first came out, but then the problems started appearing. OK, new gun, has some issues. Then Sig responded stating that a small percentage were affected because of a small batch of strikers out of spec. Ok, how many strikers in that batch and what serial numbers could ...

Re: Missouri bill would require adults aged 18-34 to own AR-15

IIRC, although that city in GA does have that law, they also have not charged or prosecuted anyone that does not own a gun as the law/ordinance says. I suspect that would also be the case in MO if their bill does become a law. So what is the point of having the law if not enforced? Sounds like poli...

Can't say I like the law. Sounds good, until I remember my position on the government forcing folks to purchase another product that they did not want... Obama Care anyone?

What exactly is a location restricted knife? A knife of any kind? Knife over so many inch's? Knife that works on a,b or c mechanism?
If the blade is longer than 5.5", then it is a location restricted knife.

Re: HI: 9th Circuit panel rules 2A protects right to carry gun in public

IMHO, if they allow open carry but not concealed, they've limited the right to bear DE FACTO because of the stigma attached to open carry...and THEY KNOW IT! I carry concealed because I can. If open carry was my only option, then I would open carry! I have no reason to doubt that YOU would OC if th...

One is forced to wonder why the alleged assailant is wearing a surgical mask. In addition, when did a Mossberg .22 become an "assault rifle"?
Maybe it has been edited, but I didn't see "assault rifle" in the story...

Re: 308 deer rifle?

I bought my son a Ruger American in .308 a couple of years back at Walmart for less than $200 on closeout. Couldn't tell you a thing about it though because neither of us has ever shot it. We lost our hunting lease, so he saw no need to put a scope on it.

Re: Sig 365 question

You guys realize that Keltec made a gun that is basically the same size with the same size capacity as the P365 almost 20 years ago in the Kel-tec P11, right? We can argue that the Sig is the better made gun, but they were not the first to market a pistol of this size with a 10 round magazine. I ha...

Re: Shotgun suggestions

For a pump, either the Remington 870 or the Mossberg 500... whichever one you like and fits the best when you bring it to your shoulder. If your budget is a little tight, take a look at the Maverick 88. Made by Mossberg, very similar to the 500. Inexpensive and can be used as a canoe paddle in a pin...
