Seems more likely to be pushed as an alternative to 9mm. All the guns that have been announced so far are 9mm sized. I've read that it is too high pressure and would be even less fun to shoot than .380 in a LCP sized gun.

Re: Signage dilemma

I know that its usually best to just keep my mouth shut when I see a non-compliant gun sign since the owner / manager is likely under the misconception that the sign is enforceable and if told otherwise, they may put up actual compliant signs (in this case a total of 6 signs covering 30.05, 30.06, ...

Re: Pocket holster and open carry

Fully Concealed without a holster is legal. But to chime in on the OP’s question, my personal opinion is no, not legal. And I also agree, probably stupid. I’d just tell my students that while I’m not a lawyer, why push that boundary. And ask if they think it’s worth any legal hassles. While not som...

This should clear it up...

"A well balanced breakfast being necessary to the start of a healthy day, the right of the people to keep and eat food shall not be infringed."

Who keeps and eats the food, the well balanced breakfast or the people?

Was it that or was it an AR pistol with a brace? Either way, "tucked in his shorts" is hard to imagine.

Re: Mossberg 88

TFB TV has a new, very positive review of the Maverick 88. I’d embed the video, but there’s some language in it. But here’s a link to it: https://youtu.be/-9OL7IquoIo . I have 2 Mossbergs with the tang safety, and I like them because I’m a lefty and they’re ambidextrous. Crossbolt safeties are coun...

Re: Mossberg 88

For a home defense shotgun, why not just keep it "cruiser ready", hammer down with empty chamber, action unlocked, safety off, and magazine tube loaded? It will require you to work the action to load it but it keeps it in a safe state while it sits in the corner of the bedroom. We keep all...

Hey honey, running to Kroger to grab a few things. Be right back. Below is the text I just got from my wife a few minutes ago. Have you looked at news lately? Kroger mass shooting in Memphis. “But I’m just going to the store I don’t need to carry “. You win - always carry My darned daughter is bad ...

Re: Anyone Seen a 3005 Sign?

The HEB I shop at on Research Blvd in Northwest Austin used to have 30.07 signs on their two front doors. A couple days after Constitutional Carry started they updated the signs on their doors to the new 30.05 unlicensed carry signs. Did they keep the 30.07? If not you could theoretically open carr...

Re: Anyone Seen a 3005 Sign?

It sure sounds like HEB is anti 2nd amendment. We have one opening in Plano soon. I will be skipping a visit to that grocery store. If they were anti 2nd amendment, they would post a 30.07 sign also. I think they a just "Karen" appeasers. There are a couple of restraunts that I won't go t...

Re: SIG P365 SAS

Think the sas sights are cool. I don’t know how well they really work for me but I do like it. I thought the same thing until we rented one at the range. In the store with good lighting, you could see the dot really well. In the indoor range, I couldn't see the dot at all. I ended up holding my pho...
