Left! Apparently it's only for passing even though I wasn't the only one driving in the left lane!
Were you driving on the grand parkway yesterday? I was considering doing a pit maneuver to get that left lane camper out of the way.

Re: New Impulsive Purchase

You'll enjoy it. That apex trigger kit isn't bad either, but you might prefer the stock trigger shoe. Good thing the original parts are included and you can get rid of that obnoxious back plate.

Re: S&W M&P Shield 9mm 2.0 Slide Retraction Effort

The recoil spring hasn't changed from what I can tell.

Small carry guns can be difficult to manipulate if hand strength is an issue.

If that's the case, take a look at the S&W 380 EZ. Designed to be an easy to manipulate slide and there is some very good 380 defensive ammo these days.

Re: US Army selects new 9mm

I never said it is supposed to be a combat weapon. I was merely questioning replacement of a 9mm pistol with a 9mm submachine gun. Would you rather face off with a guy armed with a pistol or an SMG? These are for protection details. They need small, concealable arms that can make an attacker either...

Re: US Army selects new 9mm

The B&T's are nice firearms. Really well thought out and just feel good.

It's taking a lot of personal discipline not to buy one. Bought too much lately, so I'm on the bench. ;-)

Re: TX: How to dispose of your bump stops in Houston

This one was not lost in one of the many tragic boat accidents I've been hearing about. The coast guard and insurance agencies really need to come up with ways of preventing these sorts of accidents. Destroyed on the deadline per ATF guidelines. I get the fun job of gluing it all back together becau...

You're shooting fine. Nothing to beat yourself up over, at all. As one of my instructors is fond of saying, "Would you stand in front of that target and take any of those hits?"

That looks great.

I've got one w/ an original Glenfield scope and a little more engraving on the stock. Great little 22s!

Re: Shipping parts to Italy

Under a $100 (may have been raised to $500), no export license required. They're not serialized or listed parts, I would describe them on the declaration form as "2 springs, and a guide rod, miscellaneous?" 22 CFR 123.17 These items shouldn't need to go through the proof house system on the Italian ...

Re: Seattle is Dying

I thought about staying in Seattle in the early 90s after going to UW for a summer language program. Beautiful area. Loved the mountains, the coeds, etc.

Amazed KOMO aired it and pretty glad I went another direction.
