No laughing here. I see a fair number of hipoint carbines picked up as truck guns. It's a bit clunky to operate and I do not like those silly 'shock-absorber' springs in the stock, so I replaced the stock with a bullpup one from High Tower armory. Additionally, I added a KAK linear comp which projects the blast forward. Funny thing is that the replacement stock costs the same as the whole carbine and the optic (Mepro I had laying around) costs as much as those combined. The thing runs like a champ.

Ordered this for my birthday back in the spring. Finally shipped out this week and I got to start configuring it for maximum fun. Sig Sauer MPX, 4.5" barrel, in Biden/Harris approved configuration

What length is your pistol? I can't seem to make up my mind what to go with. Gen 1 had 4.5, 6", and 8" pistols. Gen 2 is 4.5" with some 8" available through LE sales.
I did run a factory 4.5" MPX SBR at the Sig academy range a couple of months back for a CQB course. I was very impressed with the accuracy out of that short barrel, but found the handguard a little too short for my liking. The most comfortable position ended up with me grasping the magwell with my thumb over the top rail.
With that experience in mind, thinking about setting up a 4.5" barrel with the 8" handguard and just keeping it suppressed. Or, go with the 8" barrel and only occasionally suppressing the MPX. I keep going back and forth on that point. The suppressed 4.5" is bad to the bone, but unsuppressed for the the occasional PCC match would be more practical.
I'm going to bite the bullet before end of the year one way or another.

Vectors are interesting, and definitely cool looking. They have several pistol variants and make a good SBR candidate.
My advice, see if you can put your hands on one before buying if you haven't done already. See if you like the ergonomics before dropping some change. They have their own feel to them.

Fun, fun, fun! A good PCC will put a smile on any new shooter's face. No recoil to speak of, easy ergonomics on the good ones, great accuracy without a lot of effort, and you can't argue with the cost to shoot.
Sub 2000 is an interesting gun, but it's not one I'd personally want to put a lot of rounds through and it's not really up to competition shooting. But, I have seen a guy run one and he was having a blast.
I have a CZ Scorpion that I love and a Sig MPX SBR that I'm about to order.
There's a new Beretta sub gun that hasn't made it over to the states yet that I really want to check out.
Those B&T guns are dead sexy and keep turning my easily distracted head.
Don't sell the Grandpower Stribog 9mm short either. That has some potential.
Old school, I'm waiting on a demo MP5 a guy is supposed to be making for me to test out. I bought an old MP5 used tri-lug suppressor so I really need the gun for it.
Personally, I've got too many AR rifles so I prefer the non-AR platform PCCs because they're different.
