Re: WFAA gun discussions this week

If you like this experiment check out the First Person Defender series on YouTube. It does a good job at sending a variety of scenarios at good guys. They also always change something the second time the simulation is run.

Pocket Carry: What Do You Do?

I have a Sig P238 and I am thinking about buying a pocket holster for it. My question is "how you pocket carry in blue jeans?" I have an iPhone that I don't want anything in the pocket with and and gun that I also don't want anything in the pocket with. What do you do about your knife, fla...

Re: Wife is here on work visa and wants to get a gift for me =) so we need help!! =/

I'm an FFL and if you tried that sale through me, I would not take the chance that it was not a straw purchase. please, make it easy on the stupid kid and his manager working at the Academy. you filling out the paperwork and her using her card just "looks" fishy and is going to cause you ...

You should have no issues purchasing the gun if you do the paperwork. The gun is for you and you will be filling out the paperwork. Who supplies the money does not matter if the gun is truly for you. I used to sell guns for Academy and this scenario was quite common.

Campus Carry

So I am a student at a private college that opted out of campus carry. I asked the police chief today if we could still leave the gun in our cars and he said we could. Is this correct?

It also specifically points out buildings while saying nothing about parking lots.

Re: Pocket carry with no holster

If you wear basketball shorts a lot, like me, you might want to take a look at a belly band. I carry more in that than I do anything else because it is the most comfortable way to carry.

Re: Conversation with LEO

This reminds me of the time when I asked a PO what sig he was carrying to start a conversation. "His response was I don't know what ever the department issues." If you carry a firearm everyday for a living you should at least know what the name of the firearm is. I am very PO friendly but ...

Re: Adress Change

Will I still be able to carry while waiting on new plastic since I already have existing plastic or is it back to square one patiently waiting?

Adress Change

So I got married and now my address has changed. I know I can change my address for my DL online. Can I also do the same for my CHL?

Looks like only on the one side. It wouldn't be smart to have a two sided blade without assisted opening.

Re: Sent a gun back to Taurus

I have a Taurus pt 111 g2. I had a few ftf in the first 150 rounds. Since then nothing but reliability I trust my life to a Taurus and am not ashamed about it.
