Re: LTC Oliver North to become NRA President

I like North, but I expect his promotion to be rather polarizing. Not going to win many new hearts and minds. Won't take long for MSNBC to roll out the Iran/Contra videos. Not sure who I would have recommended, perhaps someone of the female gender. I'll support Col. North, of course. The flip side ...

...snip... I'd put up motion sensor trail cams inside the car. if it's dark they probably wouldnt notice them. they typically have IR cameras on them so you can get pictures at night without fear of a flash scaring the target away. ...snip... The IR reflection off the glass when inside the car will...

Booking officer asks: "any unique identifying marks or tattoos?

Bookie: Well yes... Just look at this nose! Razor thin with checkering patch on both side. If I sneeze I think my head will explode.

Booking officer: go for it... I have the medics on speed dial.

I had to watch it more than once! Looks like his partner put the brick in his right ear.

That's going to leave a mark!, Love it when a plan comes together.

Re: Kiddee fire extinguisher recall

Received my replacement today. About 60 days from submission to delivery. Received an email notice mid-Dec. that overwhelming demand would delay my replacement. Replacement has metal top vs. the plastic of the old one. Fine print on the new one indicates it can be recharged by an approved facility. ...

Re: What was your very best Christmas Gun Wise?

It was 1964 give or take a year. I was on a jr. rifle team shooting 50 foot 4 position gallery with a .22. I was getting better month by month. Dad got a used Winchester Model 52 for me that Christmas. Heavy barrel with globe front sight and Weaver rear peep sight. Stock was a little nicked up, but ...

Re: Had an issue at the NASJRB in Fort Worth

They are .22 blanks with varying power loads and I expect having been used before the device was covered in smokeless power residue. Easy mark for a well trained dog. Dog knows handler is a good guy and to ignore his 9mm. Handler observes alert with a stranger... you are good to search. Mike

Try search term "plastic clip holder". Using that search term a long page of pictures of various item were displayed. What you are looking for might be on that page. I'm including the url link, but not sure it will be complete at your end. https://www.google.com/search?q=plastic+clip+holder&source=l...

Re: Gallbladder and kidney removal.

SRO1911, I can't speak to the kidney issue, but I did have my GB out several years back. Not for stones, but sluggish performance. It seems it was slowing down the digestive process by not dumping bile in the food stream fast enough. For me, day surgery and about 3 weeks recovery to get my energy ba...

Re: Eclipse pics?

Very nice! I loaded the family up and made a quick trip to Geneva, Nebraska to see the total eclipse. I'm no photographer, took this picture of the shadows under a tree with my phone. Shadows.jpeg Excellent from an art/creative perspective. Worthy of printing and framing for a table as a remembranc...

Re: BOGO Ruger AR-556 and 10/22 (Range Report)

...snip... The AR is a pain in the buttocks to clean. ...snip... I think what you need is an AR15 Cleaning Link. It holds the upper and lower apart and keeps the two from flopping around if the upper and lower have not been completely separated. It will remove much of the pain. Mike
