Re: AZ DPS details serious FNS9 safety issues, switches to Glocks.

So the article starts out with a problem that seems completely unrelated to the out-of-battery boom problem. Where's the editor? sigh. Keys in the holster was the proximate cause of an unintended discharge in Indiana a couple years ago...at the memorial service for an officer killed in the line of d...

Re: 5 Officers Shot In Houston - Pray

Here's another report. A HPD detective was relieved of duty. Apparently she was one of the first people that was notified after officers were shot during the raid on Harding Street. I am not sure why she was relieved. I can't believe how badly it is written. I can't make complete sense of what they...

Re: Should Americans Have to Pay to Access Police Body Cam Footage?

It can be built into the annual budget process and come from all the taxes gathered, or it can be a point of service tax, or some combination. The question is really about which taxpayer(s) are ...

Re: HB 1078 - License Fees waived for people certified to perform CPR

The committee substitute now excludes you from having your license fees waived because you're required to have a CPR cert for your job Hmm. I wonder: - Does that apply to volunteer firefighters? My department requires (and pays for) each of us to take CPR training for medical providers. Is requirin...

Re: TX: New plan for justice in Dallas- No prosecution for petty crimes.

So Dallas is challenging Houston in the race to be the Chicago of Texas? When the legal system does not enforce the laws and policies that its citizens want enforced, eventually citizens wills start doing the job themselves, usually with less finesse than the appointed authorities. Then there will b...

Re: So best brand is settled: Chuck Norris is a Glock Guy

Chuck's Glock doesn't dare run out of ammo, no matter how many rounds he fires. Of course he only needs to point it in the general direction of a large city, to completly eradicate their gang problems. Pfft. Chuck doesn't even bother to load it. He just points it at the bad guy and yells Bang! DRT.
