Any reason given for the delay?

Glad you got it sorted. Sure would be interesting to know why.

:thumbs2:
She kind of gave me the reason it got moving (took me calling and asking for supervisor) but not why it was stalled. I know that at the very beginning my status had actually stated all green but the background check and print pending after application review, then later it showed fingerprints under review. Seems like the fingerprints under review is what put a halt to the quick process. But then I called and they stated the fingerprints were good , but then why was I showing them under review? Don't really know honestly . Still have my AZ packet on the way.

Re: LTC Renewal Time

Ok, went back to do a little research on the renewals. Is it me or is there a trend occurring here? The farther you are from Austin , especially if you are to west of Texas , the longer your renewal will take? If this is true then that is bothersome! Look, at the renewals serviced in a quick time. I am from west of Texas , El Paso county.

Re: LTC Renewal Time

Called today to see what the status was, even though I could see that on the website there is no update. The lady stated that that have 45 to 180 day to issue the renewal. I stated that to my understanding , it 45 days unless they need new information and obviously that haven't requested any new information. She confirmed that there is no new information needed but repeated that they have 180 days anyways. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said one would call me back . Another thing she told me is that my application didn't not start processing until March 14. I let her know that all my information/renewal was submitted on March 4th and received the email on that same day. She repeated well it started processing on the 14th. Well shall see what is going on . I contacted my representative today, see where this goes. Hmm :confused5

Re: LTC Renewal Time

Wow, I had no idea a renewal would take so long. I am even considering getting the Arizona gun permit to have just in case they want to drag their feet to the point of my license expiring. It's unacceptable! What is making certain renewals take a long time? They should only have 45 days to approve or deny. If they need more than 45 days on a renewal with no new information from the last application , then what is really going on ? Hmmm :mad5

That's what I have been seeing here. The quickness of those renewals. Don't really understand why a renewal would take long anyway. No new information to look at since original application should be simple enough. but :nono:

RDT806 wrote: Tue Apr 09, 2019 7:14 pm Must be nice. I’m 53 days into a renewal and fingerprints and background still under review. No requests for additional documentation. So who knows?
I am gonna take a guess and say that they are probably prioritizing the ones that are about to expire . I am still almost 5 months from expiration . Really who knows but they're not really consistent on process time. :waiting:

Re: LTC Renewal Time

I submitted mine digitally . They were good enough 4 years ago. I think I would have received something by snail mail if I needed something else. But you never know really. I don't expire until until August but still I like taking care of business early . They should have 45 days for renewal and I'm holding them to it.
