Re: TX: Lt Gov Patrick says not enough Senate votes to pass Con Carry
My Senator, Paxton just announced her support for HB 1927. More are adding themselves to the list. I suspect that pressure will start to mount on the fence sitters. I was wondering if we should send her an email thanking her for supporting our 2nd amendment rights. Maybe some incentive for her to m...

I sometimes wonder what, if anything, would happen if a whistle like this was blown at the person(s) about to do whatever wrong act. Would it give that moment of shock to affect a different outcome? Well, that Amazon link won't work but you can search for this: HyperWhistle The Original Worlds Loud...

I received a response from my State Senator.
Re: Foundry
Make sure they are dry first or you heat them up slowly. Don’t get a crucible going and just drop them in. You can get a steam explosion if you drop them in a pre heated crucible and there's moisture in the can.

Re: Keltec sub2000
I use to want one for a backpack gun but went another direction. From what I have researched they are decent little rifles and that was a smoking deal. One other reason I never got one is because I couldn't find a .40 that took Glock mags. I don't have a Glock but their magazines are the most availa...

Re: Lone Star Law
I watched one show at the in-laws and thought it made the fun police look like fools. I have a problem with participating in a lawful activity and being forced to prove I'm not breaking the law. Terry stops are illegal for street patrol but not game wardens.

I saw a post that you can bring your handgun into a your hotel room passed the State House. https://capitol.texas.gov/BillLookup/History.aspx?LegSess=87R&Bill=HB1856 That doesn't affect me. Anytime I've stayed in a hotel, I took my handgun to the room. Seems like a solution to a problem that do...

Use to be if you were rude to a woman or aggressive towards a woman, it was expected you would get slapped upside the head and maybe taught some manners. Nowadays you better not be a man and defend a woman or your neighbors unless you want to go to jail.

How about you call them and let them know you have a pistol brace or bump stock? Or a pistol brace on a 80% lower.

Re: ATF to Institute Rulemaking Regarding Stabilizing Braces and Require Registration of Currently Owned Braces
I thought of another insidious possibility of consequences with allowing ATF to implement this rule and that is the following: - by "allowing" us to register the brace equipped firearm now as a Title II weapon regulated by the NFA, it becomes less "transferrable" because now you...
