Re: Gun Registration is Gun Confiscation: 2019

From the article: The holy grail of those who wish us disarmed is gun registration. Once your guns are required to be registered, they are, in effect, already confiscated. A little thought will reveal to you why this is so. The Government will know who has legal possession of each firearm. They will...

How can you have a printed receipt and delete the transaction records?

Re: Four years in jail for killing police officer, no-knock raid, no drugs found, no trial yet

Almost 6 years before he will get a trial. ... I don't know the validity of the original event (the raid), but by Texas statute trials must start within 180 days of arrest. Once an indictment is obtained, I believe the DA has to be ready to go, trial can begin in short order, so I would guess the D...

Re: Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick attacks NRA and Supports expanded background checks

This disappoints me but I did have an idea in my head about this whole background check "we have to do something" thing. What if instead of mandatory background checks between private persons, they were simply incentivised similar to what was recently done with 30.06 signs where there are liability...

Re: Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick attacks NRA and Supports expanded background checks

What is the definition of insanity? Oh, right - performing the same action over and over and expecting to get a different result. I will do everything in my power to primary out Dan Patrick if he continues on this reckless and feckless course. If he is the "Republican" candidate, I will vote for so...

Re: Feds Order Apple & Google to hand over users of rifle scope app

If the tyrants want to come take me or my scope, the same applies to everything else I own. Seems to me that the list of what the tyrants are snooping into and forbidding will get longer and longer. The issue right now is that us 2A patriots are the only ones whose ox is getting gored. There needs ...

Re: Speaker Bonnen Appoints 13 Members to House Select Committee

I do not care about the back room deals and the unified front. Every representative is on record voting for Bonnen as the speaker. To me, that shows the politicians in Austin do not have our best interests in mind and will not fight for what is right.

I guess Joe Strauss still thinks he's important and people want to hear his opinion. I checked, we don't.

Re: Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick attacks NRA and Supports expanded background checks

I called his office. The phones are busy so I left a short message. I reminded him that defying "the NRA" is defying the people that voted for him and donated to his campaign. He just lost my vote, my donations and my respect. :banghead: Him and Abbott lost my vote with the property tax reform fias...

I think every one of them (Republicans) currently in office, need to be primaried. Maybe not Cruz but every one else in my opinion needs to go.

Matui vernier caliper came from my paternal grandpa and will always have a home here, but my eyes have an increasingly difficult time with the vernier scale.
You could probably make money betting people to read the vernier. :biggrinjester:
