Re: Texans Respond to License to Carry

So what happens when every business post anti gun signs? How likely do you think this will be? Since moving to Texas, very likely. You have more laws here than any pro gun state I feel. I'm in San Antonio. We almost got Acevedo as a chief, he hates OC. Our mayor or whatever she is big liberal too. ...

Re: Question about the Sig M11 A1

Aluminium raw, treated, untreated or anodized will eventually discolor due to exposure to the environment. It won't matter how much money you throw at it, it's just a question of time. G10 is nearly indestructible, will retain shape and color, wood, micarta, tc. is considered instable material and ...

Re: Question about the Sig M11 A1

They do. I have an M11A1 and I think the stock grips are ok, at least for my hand size. If I'dd replace the grips I most likely would put G10 grips on or convert to the E2 grip. Here is the link to the SIG Sauer grip options for the P228/229 http://store.sigsauer.com/parts/grips.html?firearm_type=1...

Question about the Sig M11 A1

I was looking to buy some more grips for an M11. It's kind of a frankengun. 229 frame size. I've seen 228 grips say they fit the 229 as well. What size grips should I be looking for? I think the 229 grips will fit the M11 but I'm not sure.

Re: CHL follow up question

I mailed my class form, bar code email and finger print form. I used snail mail. I did the application online and I did finger prints digitally.

Re: Pondering an XDs

I've shot both in 9mm and honestly there isn't much difference. I'd rather have the 3.3 for concealed carry purpose. If I want bigger I'll carry my sig.

CHL follow up question

I turned in all my info after my finger prints about a week ago. Am I supposed to get a confirmation they got it? I guess things are slow for labor day and they just got it. I tried to login and it won't let me view anything. Too early?

Re: Finally moved to Texas

You can carry a firearm in your car concealed in Texas. So the school law would only apply if you were out of your vehicle, to my understanding anyway. That is completely incorrect. JALLEN was referring to the FEDERAL gun free school zones act. It has an exception for people licensed to carry in th...

Where I live, its very pro police. A lot of that has to do with how they communicate with us. They even run a social media and update us daily.
