There's also a sequel, Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Haven't seen it yet so don't know if it measures up to the first one, but just make sure you watch the first one.
It does a respectable job, but not as good as the first one.

Re: TAM In The Hospital

WHEW! Found and clipped an ulcer. Discovered an unknown hiatal hernia. Have not slept for more than an hour or two straight since waking up Thursday morning, and I’m exhausted . Gonna try to sleep now. I spent 14 nights in the hospital last summer with Bacterial Meningitis. It's kinda' hard to get ...

Don't have a PCC, but I do have a Mossbert 930 spx. I got mine in all black with a normal stock and I love it. Put a Bushnell red dot on it. Works great so far, I've only run buckshot through it though.

Re: Off The Beaten Path - Navarro, Tx

I grew up about 12 miles from there and have never been to it. Been to Angus, Mildred, and Eureka but never Navarro. Navarro rings a bell in my mind but can't place why. :???: I think I passed thru Navarro back in '61 or '62 when my roommates and I were on our way back to Allen Military Academy in ...

Re: Feeling almost like a real Texan...

We have one, a bit different then yours, but we use a propane tube to get the wood going in the firebox. Many think mesquite is the best wood but actually we use fruit tree (apple, pear) wood. A few years ago I cooked 18 racks of ribs in 2 batches, for a friend of mine mom's 60th birthday. He had a...

Re: GOA in court re bumpstock-ban - interesting

I expect a SCOTUS decision on this. Not until we get a replacement for Ginsburg and maybe even Breyer. They've been refusing to hear 2A cases for some time now. Although this is a lot more than a 2A case at this point. How is it determined that a case will be heard by SCOTUS? Does it take a unanimo...

I got my Texas Level III Security Officer Certification. This was the Range Qualify. Also certified with OC, Baton, and Handcuffs. Finished the class yesterday. (Sun 3/31/19) I'll get on and register with TOPS today.

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Don't underestimate the ignorance of leftist voters or the deceitfulness of the leftist establishment. I was in a meeting with Dan Patrick last week. I'm paraphrasing his numbers as best that I can remember them but the Republican turnout for an off year election was equal to or greater than the Re...

Re: TX: The mean interstate near Waco

If you didn't wreck from the impact, or unfortunately be killed from the impact, would this be a reasonable liable use of deadly force reaction? As in, drawing and shooting the idiots who dropped/threw the rock? I assume it would be, no i'm not looking for a reason to use my firearm. I just feel in...

Re: I found the best gun lube

I use all of Breakthrough products below. I recently decided I like grease on my AR’s. What I like best about their snakes is it has the caliber on a permanent tag attached to the snake so I don’t have to try guess which snake which gun. The best is their solvent has no odor. https://www.breakthrou...

Re: Remington UMC 9mm issue

I stopped by the Winchester white box, and the Remington white and green box ammo. I kept having way to many problems with them. Failures to fire, bullets not seated deep enough, or seated too deep. Been using the Federal aluminum case stuff (obviously i don't reload), no problems out of about 3,000...
