Re: The Boy Scouts Filing Bankruptcy After A String Of “Woke” Decisions Caused It To Go Broke

I can understand if your business is one that caters to the sjw type why you would have policies they like. However if you are a business or organization that doesn't why would you care? If 0.01% of your audience/customers are for something and the rest are against it then it is logical you are goin...

Re: HOW TO SET UP NFA TRUST

Why would you bother? All beneficiaries of the trust that were "responsible persons" for the item would still have to fill out the same photo/fingerprints and pass the same background check. And I suspect the more background checks, the longer the process to get your Form 4 (registration) back. I d...

...I hope your hearing is OK too. No ringing of ears at all. Can guarantee auditory exclusion is real, I barely registered the sound of the gunshots. We may still all want to choose our words wisely here so the DA doesn't read something that causes a change of heart. Or worse still, causes some cri...

Re: TX: Pair shot while breaking into vehicles

I just got word that the prosecutor has decided not to take the case to a grand jury. The two people did not get shot for burglary, they got shot for trying to run me over. I kept from commenting just in case. I still don't want to get into details for the same reason, but will say had they just dr...

All this to get back close to a caliber that was available in the early 50's the .280
They should have chosen it over the .308 for sure.

Yep. The police are not there to Protect. They are there to give reports after the crime is done. It has been said many times... Law Enforcement's job is to draw the chalk outline. Your job is to ensure it's not YOUR outline. Very much this. Unless you get win the lottery level lucky, there will no...

Re: HB 497 - Add Types and Uses of Ammunition to Required LTC Course Curriculum

No clue. I haven't heard anything about crazy ammo being used in any news stories. I looked and the author is a Republican from District 1 (Northeast Texas). So it seems unlikely that this is an anti-gun push. I agree that without more information this seems like a solution in search of a problem.

Re: Salads killed more people this month than AR-15’s

I know there were some deaths earlier this year (May or June I think), but I haven't seen any since. There were something like 30-40 sick in the US and another 15-20 in Canada. No deaths from this newest outbreak, at least so far as I've seen or been able to find.

I wouldn't necessarily call it good, but the Bass Pro in Grapevine has a 100 yard rifle tube. Need to call and setup an appointment to make sure you don't waste a trip.

Re: Negligent entrustment of a firearm: TX courts haven't ruled.

I'm okay with this as long as it happens to corporations and the government. Well you entrusted that officer with the pistol, and they murdered somebody, so everyone up the chain of command to include the council and mayor get murder charges as well. Well you entrusted that copy of windows to this p...
