Re: Happy Fathers Day!

I didn't take the bug shooting, 1 year old is a little young still. However I did treat myself to a Mossberg 930 SPX, and took it to the range today.

Re: Ruger Mark IV Recall

Is this a new one? I know they had one awhile back, because the one I bought was affected and I sent it in and got it back already. Was a post about a year ago on it.

Re: Former chief of the Texas Rangers thinks 2A is about hunting

I did a two day rifle course over Memorial Day weekend. There were 3 Arkansas Deputy Sheriffs in attendance. They said such things as, "I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy." and "When seconds count we're minutes away." They were happy to see regular folks shooting rifles and getting training. S...

Seems odd, but you know the saying "truth is stranger than fiction". So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until proof comes out otherwise. Plus just keep doing what I do, and inspecting my gear regularly so I don't join him.

Re: Seattle WA: 9-0 vote to tax largest employers to help homeless

Funny thing about the raising prime rates. My wife and I each had our own prime accounts. With the increase we're getting rid of one and just share the other. So it's going to actually cost them money from our house. Not that they'll notice. The tax is just another example of libtards being libtards...

Re: 147th Annual NRA Meeting in Dallas

Question. I was only able to make it Friday & even at that only until 1pm. The question is, does anyone know if Freedom Munitions ever made it there? I found their space but it wasn't set up & only had their big banner. If they didn't, I have to wonder why they were not there. Added note, was very ...

Re: Are there plans for Forum members to meet up at the NRA meeting Friday?

My day off that I had scheduled back in January got cancelled this week. So my boss could leave Friday instead of Saturday for a trip up to Oklahoma. So it'll be Saturday only for me.

Re: Home Defense Weapon

Really, all of the talk about putting several pieces of sheetrock together or even a few inches apart doesn't prove much. To be realistic you need to set up like your home. In my case, the next room that someone might be in is 12', a closet door, clothes and two layers of sheetrock away. To be real...

Re: kydex holsters

I've been using a kydex IWB from NSR Tactical that uses the soft loops and haven't had any issues. I use a kydex IWB mag carrier from Dale Frickle, once again with soft loops and haven't had any issues. Blue loctite the screws when I get everything set the way I want it. I also had good luck with th...

Re: Grand Prairie IKEA

 Must be a Swedish meatball food fight. They are shooting them at each other with muskets while using cheap furniture as cover . I don't know... I think most Ikea furniture only qualifies as concealment not cover.: Against meatballs they would probably (note I said probably) provide ...

Re: NRA National Meeting May 3-6 -- Anybody Worried?

When I went to the NRA convention in Houston a few years ago, the massive protests promised turned out to be about a dozen or so misfits, who were so inconspicuous you would've figured they were just the usual vagrants if you didn't look closely. I personally couldn't care if they came with a thous...

Similar size to grundy1133 what kinda undershirts do you wear? all the shirts i find either come untucked, or are so heavy tha...

I carry at 3 o'clock IWB in a NSR holster (full kydex with soft loop snaps), IWB dual mag carrier from Dale Fricke at 9 o'clock. I'm 6'2" 330 lbs. Oh and I'm also using a Super Bio belt from Daltech.
