Re: Called out in church on my CC

It was two older deacons, one had taken the class, one was about to and his girlfriend was already carrying to church, that convinced me to finally get my license years ago. Both of those deacons passed away, and our newest deacon who just moved here from Midland, is licensed too

If there is a situation that may require self defense I don't want anyone glancing my way like they are expecting me to do something. And believe me, they will. Glances are giveaways if the assailant is paying attention.
:iagree: Real good point I made to my own family, and others, that my timing is mine alone if and when I decide to do anything, or not, and not to be glancing my way expecting anything to occur such that a bad armed person takes notice of everyone looking at me ... which then would make me hesitate to draw at all if he is watching me and pointing his gun at me, that's not the most opportune situation..

Even with the exposed black clips on black belt, that was very observant of him. If he isn't a LEO or former LEO, then I would suspect that he also carries. Very few non-gun people are that observant.
Crossbreed clips may be obvious to a person who looks for them, I know of no "non-gun" people who would notice.
I used to wear either Velcro or I prefer J-clip or C-Clip clips which go under a belt instead of on top of it so most "gun people" or LEOs don't notice clips.

My church is a small one. Most in the congregation know where the "gun carriers" (both male & female) sit who aren't standing up front. Perhaps he was just asking to know what areas he should cover if you got your section covered, he can watch the others ... but as Charles said ... let sleeping dogs sleep.
