Re: Proud Pawpaw (sorry Pawpaw, I am also called that)

I have no opinion on the gun, but wanted to say congratulations to her! :iagree: :iagree: :woohoo Very nice. Grandkids are great, The parents set the rules so you really don't have to discipline per say but, you can enjoy the bejeebers out of time spent with them. Sounds like life has been good, :t...

Re: Looking for a safe recommendation

Keep in mind that rule of thumb is that any safe lighter than 750 pounds needs to be secured to the floor. :iagree: My safe is over 1000 & when I moved, the apparent ease that two guys moved it with, it's bolted down again and a wall now needs to be removed to get it out. Mine is a Liberty & I've b...

Re: Would you fire this?

Tested in a rest first, yes. I realize the time lapse part, but, after the amount of work put in to bring it to that
point how could you not. That was really impressive from where I sit. :tiphat:

Re: Robot Bar

Just to clarify, I'm quite certain Roy was saying he "stole" it to pass on to others, not accusing you of stealing it. Fair point, if so then my humble apologies. :iagree: w loktite That joke, that was good. :tiphat: :tiphat: I was snacking on some prepackaged french pastry things that the Missus &...

Re: Shooting at Car Thieves

I may be one of the few that don’t break the law but I’d suspect everyone who regularly drove a manual transmission does the same. I wouldn't even do it on a manual, unless I were on a hill. I learned to drive up in the snowy icey North, where setting the brake could have poor results. A frozen bra...

Re: Midland PD officer shot and killed. Edited

:confused5 Why don’t we patiently wait until the incident details are released rather than speculate 1,000 “what-if" scenarios? Unfortunately, at some point in time, most have jumped to conclusions. I have done it myself & will wait for the Rangers report. For some, that is the only exercise they g...

Re: WWB failures

The 2000 +/- rounds of 9, 40 & 45 WWB that I've fired over the yrs has never given me a problem. It's a mass produced item. There are going to be issues w/any such product. Winchester in general, has given me very few problems. Maybe I've been lucky (very possible),... or unaware (doubtful). I will ...

Re: WWB failures

I just had a Winchester Target 5.56 quality escape. Inconsistent primers and headstamps and 1 inverted/crushed primer. I can understand a single bad primer. But the mismatched primers and headstamps is surprising. Walmart reluctantly exchanged for a new box. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FVZHFT0...

I'm glad the clerk is ok, & the bg is not.

That's funny.
Unfortunately it would be really funny if it was not based in truth.
Just my opinion.
