Re: Experience dealing with LEOs during events etc?

Why would you voluntarily show your CCW / LTC to a volunteer gate security person when it is not required to do so. Might as well open carry at that point. You are not required to disclose unless at a traffic stop with at Texas peace officer or upon direct request by a Texas peace officer. Otherwise...

Re: OMG! I agree with something HRC said

Republicans in Washington and state houses everywhere need to make posters of this statement and hang them on their office walls. The Democrats understand that they are at war with the intent of destroying their opposing party. Republicans better start acting accordingly or face eradication. All th...

Re: Glad I carry

We're on the hunt for some acreage out in the country and was out looking at 10 acres on Saturday. We pulled up to the property and got out. I noticed some free range dogs across the street, but didn't pay much attention to them. About 10 minutes later one of them trotted on over to us, large dog, ...

https://amgreatness.com/2018/10/05/but-kavanaugh-nevertrumps-awakening/ For two years, NeverTrump has united with the Left to sabotage Trump’s presidency, smear congressional Republicans who support him, and ridicule Trump voters. Led by Bill Kristol, the editor-at-large-and-getting-larger of the W...

Re: 16 year old daughter pocket knife/ pepper spray

Heaven forbid your children be placed in a position where they have to fight for their lives, but without proper training and the requisite mindset to get violent fast themselves, they will realize at the worst and final moments of their live that they had no plan, no strategy, no tactic, no skill,...

Re: Glock 21 (.45 cal.) Own One?

If so, do you like it? Hate it? What generation? Please, tell me about it. Is it accurate? Easy/Hard shooting? Pluses, Minuses? Thanks! Yes. Gen 4. I carry this when I can, otherwise Glock 30 Gen 4 is my backup. Self defense outside the home is the primary purpose of me owning this model. Is blue l...

Re: 16 year old daughter pocket knife/ pepper spray

a determined male attacker of any size is going to be hard to overcome. Based on what facts? I have seen 5 foot tall 90 pound trained housewives overcome and defeat 6 foot 250 pound men. I have also seen 90 year old women with enough firearms training and a home protection plan to successfully defe...

Re: 16 year old daughter pocket knife/ pepper spray

Is your daughter a ninja or trained knife fighter? If not, the chances of it getting taken away from her and used against her are higher... Agreed completely. I am amazed at the number of people that buy a device like pepper spray, knives, and firearms and cling to them for comfort as if the posses...

Re: Incident with aggressor after facebook post.

I would have displayed my weapon in a defensive manner to warn him to keep back. Then what? If I had a crystal ball I would answer that. But it would totally depend on the aggressor. I thank God he came to his senses and left . :txflag: Drawing with the expectation that the OP will retreat and no i...

Re: Always Use A Shopping Cart

If you're at your local supermarket, big-box store, etc., recommend you always use a shopping cart, even if you're buying only a couple of small items. This has several purposes: 1 If you're carrying openly, it will prevent somebody in front of you from grabbing your gun as easily as they might oth...
