There's very little chance of that. It came in a bubble padded envelope about as big as a piece of printer paper.
Y'all remember when Ralphie kept eagerly checking the mailbox for his package from his favorite radio show Little Orphan Annie that contained the decoder ring? I feel like Ralphie!

Bruin98 wrote:For all you out of towners, the DART line is nowhere near as complicated as it looks. The orange, red and blue lines all run directly through downtown and all 3 stop at the Convention Center. Then you walk a little over 150 yards (under a cover) and boom you are right there.

The green line is a little complicated. You have two options:
1. Get off at the West End and wait 5-10 minutes for a blue, red, orange train to pick you up and take you to the Convention Center.
2. Get off at the West End and walk. It's an easy walk if you are in any kind of walking shape. Personally, I'd wait for the train, but the walk won't kill you.

Just a heads up that the West End Station is one of the busiest stops on the train. It's got an interesting assortment of people waiting for the train, loitering or just living there.

Trust me--my 4 year old and 8 year old can get anywhere on DART. (I'm actually concerned they may try to catch the bus that comes by our house and runaway one day because they have that system figured out.)
Thank you brother!

The one thing that has me concerned - not worried - is the self-proclaimed pro-gun guys that plan to show up in anti-NRA t-shirts to protest the NRA leadership at the NRA event. In my view, this does not solve any grievances and only serves to strengthen the enemy. Thoughts?
“A house divided against itself cannot stand”

The progressive socialists do, for the most part, stand together to achieve their agenda. Everyone else dedicates much time and effort to fighting amongst their allies and friends. That’s why our side consistently suffers further infringement of our rights.
Well spoken my friend ... and true.

It's like republicans voting for hilary since they don't like trump... you still have to vote for the platform and the party's principles even when you don't like the candidate.

Those people should direct that energy to something positive, like supporting TSRA or the other good gun organizations. Gun guys protesting the NRA hurts us nationally... they cause so many "middle grounders" and fence sitter to vote left that it's a net loss to our common cause.
Agreed. A popular youtube gun channel guy who did not get a sweetheart deal with NRA fell through and has launched this anti-NRA position based on $30 t-shirt sales.

Is this what the Sons of Liberty went through?

Taking my 15 year old out of school that day and making it an epic father-son 3 day weekend, complete with tickets to the Charlie Daniels / Travis Tritt / Gatlin Brothers concert.

His only worry is that R. Lee Ermey won't be at the Glock booth for a handshake and selfie.

Seriously?

The NRA members ARE the security.

You are an armed American citizen living in a time with the best training, best ammunition, and best firearms affordably available to the commoners in history. What are you worried about?

You will be in the company of 100,000 other armed American citizens, comforted by 1,000,000 rounds of ammunition they carry to make it the safest 15 acres on the planet.

The risk of weirdness as you call it is exponentially higher shopping at the local Walmart.
