Re: Dumb female pockets!

I started buying and wearing men's pants years ago. I have never carried a purse, so deeper pockets have always been a must for me.

Re: Calling all CHLs who are also RVers

We like to go to Lake Tawakoni State park. It is close enough to be convenient and far enough to give us a break and mini get-away for a weekend. Our grandson loves to go out in the RV with us.

Re: Wish List - for a new home

It would be at least a story and a half. I would build the kitchen on the east side of the house so the afternoon sun doesn't hit it. Ours is on the west side and it is so hot to cook in the summer time. I would place a walkin pantry between the garage and kitchen, so when unpacking groceries from t...

Re: Chickens

We've had 2 rhode island reds for a couple of years. We have a portable coop and attached run - so we can move them around to fresh grass.

Re: WTB - Berreta Tomcat

Would she consider trying a Sig P238? I have had both. The beretta was a beast compared to the P238. Top loading the beretta was nice but it does have significantly more recoil in spite of possesing a heavier frame. Racking the slide on the P238 may be managable for her, if that is a concern. It is ...

Re: female dollar store clerk whoops a robber

"After grabbing a little over $30, the robber eventually left the store, but not before Thomas hit him in the head with the very Oreo's he was trying to buy"

That line was funny!

Re: Buell Opinions?

I have a Blast and my husband has an Ulysses. I would like riding his more but the seat sits high and I have to stand on tiptoes or lean it a little to hold at a standstill. The performance is unbelievable, they are responsive, easy to handle, and FAST! I don't know a lot of technical details, but t...

Re: Chat Feature

IRC has it's perks = mostly in that you can share real time interaction with others. There are good ones and bad ones, we just don't go to the bad ones. The amount of restriction required is up to the site owner - there are password enabled rooms; invite only, or those open to the whole world. They ...

Re: Chat Feature

The version that was used here before was primitive and unwieldy to use and follow the attempts at conversation. There are better options available and moderation could be implemented. It's just a matter of finding the application that meets those needs and is easier to manage.

Re: Id Card Holder?

I use a Jimi wallet and keep it in my front pocket . I've attached it to a beltman key fob so I don't accidentally lose it. I can keep 2-3 cards and a few bills in it. It's water resistant, but not waterproof. I've worn one out; on my second.

Re: Anyone into hot peppers?

I love chilitepins and so do my cats (or at least the leaves off the plants). I have unsuccessfully tried sprouting them indoors - but the blasted cats strip all the leaves off the plant as soon as the plants begin getting established. I have one lonely stem left on a plant that survived this winte...

Re: Anyone into hot peppers?

As far as chilepetins, they seem to grow wild in my small yard. I live smack in the middle of Austin. They are mostly seed, just a little bit of flesh, but it will light you up. Does that sound like a chilepetin...? Yes, they are tiny round red and green peppers and pack a lot of flavor in that lit...
