Re: Man Reels in Semi-Automatic Rfile

Seems like a very odd choice for a murder weapon, spendy too. Most likely stolen and ditched.

Re: Inline Fabrication's Quick-change mounts

Yes and no. Yes I have the mount and my Dillion 650 is mounted on one of the plates, but I don’t have anything else mounted on my spare plates yet. Even with that it’s a great system though. One of these days when I have a dedicated reloading space it’ll be handy.

Re: NRA Personal Protection Expo Ft Worth Sept 6-8 2019

Is it going to be 30.06/30.07 posted? Of course not, this is the NRA. This isn’t a given, The have events which are NOT gun friendly. Being that I've been to quite a few NRA events in the last 3 or 4 years, including the nationals, without encountering any that were not gun friendly could you provi...

Re: Hyatt Hotels

Most (if not all) are posted now. Hyatt Hill Country resort on 151 near Sea World is, last time we were there I informed the Asst Resort Director we wouldn’t be back, he seemed very disappointed himself, told me I wasn’t the first person to tell him that and that he understood. Have seen several Hya...

Re: BCM vs DD

I have examples of each, and while the DD is very nice, to me the BCM is better. Fit and finish are excellent on both, so really whichever one you can find a deal on. Don’t think you’d be disappointed with either.

Re: Dillon drops the XL650 in favor of XL750

Admittedly I’m not sure what the 750 is supposed to offer over the 650 as I hadn’t done much reading on it yet. My reloading has taken a hiatus since baby #3 came along (and since it’s been too hot to stand in an unventilated garage), but was planning to start up again the fall. I guess I’ll just co...

Re: Gun Safe help - and perhaps more

Short of drilling the safe (which will likely cost several hundred dollars as she discovered) you can probably get into it with a long pry bar and enough time. Most safes aren’t really going to stop someone with power/prying tools and enough time, especially a Cabelas branded one. Now, once you’re i...

Re: DFW Way Out West Breakfast

I won’t make this one, which is unfortunate as it was probably my last one for a little while as my daughter’s fall soccer has started up. Failing a late game that corresponds with the breakfast it’ll likely be November before I see you guys again.

Have a great one!

Re: .22 pistol choices

Coming from someone who owns both, and shoots both suppressed, the S&W all day long and twice on Sunday. I know the Ruger is supposed to be the gold standard, but I’m just not taken with it. I had a Mk III 22/45 that I liked, but hated the take down. So I ended up upgrading to a Mk IV. Thus far it’s...

Re: Anyone here use SIG's Pro Shop?

If you were near I’d offer to help you install new sights and the SRT. That said Scott’s suggestion of breaking it up into two jobs is excellent. Also, we have probably the second best Sig gunsmith (behind Bruce Grey @ Greyguns) here in Texas. Robert Burke aka. The Sig Armorer is here in DFW and doe...
