Re: Range Bag-Not What You Think

Compare this post with the discussion in: https://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=95788&hilit=Car&start=15#p1248711 A mess. Interesting! Maybe if you are carrying handguns in a DeWalt tool bag you could get two different reactions from law enforcement: 1. They totally ignore it. 2. What ...

Range Bag-Not What You Think

Recently bought a new drill and impact driver that came in a nifty nylon bag. It is also a great range bag! You can easily put one or two handguns in it along with ammo and some cleaning supplies. Here is a two pack--strongly recommend! If you decide the bags are not your ideal range bags then they ...

Re: Chuck e Cheese: Father changing his daughter’s diaper reaches into diaper bag. Shoots himself and his daughter

"Israeli Carry" would have prevented this tragedy. Anticipating the blow-back of my comment I know you can link the Youtube experts who say carry ready is the way to go and all he needed was a proper holster to protect the trigger. However, I have seen way too many negligent discharges like this in ...

Re: Bought a new Rossi 92 in .357/.38

Writer Steven Fromholz died a few years back when his Rossi lever-action rifle hit the ground in an unusual accident and discharged, striking him in the eye and killing him. Something about the lack of a transfer bar on his rifle--maybe an older model.

Re: Switching to wheel guns this year

I love to shoot my wheel guns at the range but my every day carry is my Glock 26. Occasionally I carry my Ruger LCR in 38 special plus P. My Glock 26 with an x-grip will hold a Glock 19 magazine and give me fifteen rounds as opposed to the five rounds in the Ruger LCR. Maybe it is because I practice...

Re: Gunmaker Remington can be sued over marketing of rifle used in Sandy Hook shooting, court rules

Remember-it was a 4-3 decision and could have easily gone the other way. In my opinion the 4 justices were engaging in some result-oriented thinking along the lines of---our children were murdered...somebody should pay....where is the deep pocket?....ah...Remington! Then they wrote the opinion accor...

Re: Gunmaker Remington can be sued over marketing of rifle used in Sandy Hook shooting, court rules

The marketing rationale used by the Connecticut Supreme Court is laughably absurd. Can I sue the spinning reel company when I do not catch a fish? Can I sue the barbell company when I do not get the six-pack abs? Can I sue the car company when I do not get the beautiful blonde? And so on. Hopefully ...

I await the grand jury's decision. Yes, I know the joke about indicting a ham sandwich. However, the grand jury will have far more information than we have.

Re: Bonnie and Clyde walk into a BAR...*

Will watch that when it comes out. There are two versions of the ambush from what I have read in the past. Frank Hamer's version has him stepping into the roadway to ask Bonnie and Clyde to surrender. When he saw them going for their guns, instead, then he and the deputies opened up and ended it. The...

Re: Anti-Gun bias is destroying people’s faith in journalism

Thanks for the link. Enjoyed reading the article! Back in 2016 I watched CNN's coverage of both the RNC Convention and the DNC Convention. I was amazed at the negative tag-lines they had below the RNC speakers--surprisingly none later below the DNC speakers....hmmm. Then I watched "journalists" aka ...

Don't think it will pass the Senate's 60 vote cloture rule so it is fairly moot what the President would do. However, I have been surprised before.

Re: IN: Woman kills officer's attacker, now getting sued

So, the lawsuit was "dropped." But, I have questions. Was a monetary settlement paid by any party ( I understand the good samaritan could not afford to pay anything) in return for dropping the lawsuit? Often confidential settlements are reached in return for dismissal of the suit. Would hate to see ...
